The Dark Parables never fail to disappoint! This version takes a spin off Little Red Riding Hood and incorporates other fairytale legends. Really ingenious and fun. The game seemed to be shorter than the other editions, at least it felt that way. The bonus game was enjoyable to play and kept the same feel as the main game.
I always have to remind myself to look for the cursed morphed objects throughout the Dark Parables. I usually am a quarter way through before I realize these games have that element to it. It is like a game within a game.
The puzzles are not real difficult once you realize what they want you to do. Very fun, beautiful, relaxing game.

I usually read the reviews on the Nancy Drew games before purchasing them since you cannot play a trial game first.
I really love this game. It is not as frustrating as some ND games can be with memorizing a floorplan to get around. It is a more relaxing game. I have played so many of these games that I am looking forward to new ones coming out.
The only thing I wish in the ND games is for the option of skipping some puzzles if you can't get them.
As with all of the Awakening editions, I love, love, love them! They have the most beautiful graphics that causes you to delve into the adventure with Princess Sophia.
I don't think I will ever get tired of this particular game type. Very relaxing and fun. Now, if I could just get a new Dream Chronicles game to come out, I'd be really happy!

I really enjoyed this edition. I always find these games relaxing, no matter at what level you are playing. The only downside to this game are the puzzle areas. I love the mini-games but it is better when you have some kind of initial instruction with them to know what they're after. This game, as far as I can see, does not give you instructions for the mini-games, which can be frustrating. Who wants to guess what they want you to accomplish.
The plus side is that you can skip any puzzles that you just cannot figure out.
Overall, I enjoyed this game a lot and would recommend all of the editions.
Out of all of the ND games I have played this is probably one of my least favorite. At the same time, I didn't hate it either. There was some enjoyable game time and the storyline involving Marie Antoinette (sp) was interesting.
What I didn't like most about the game was how long it took to learn the castle floorplan in order just to get around. I didn't find the interacting characters all that interesting either. Considering I love most ND games, this was disappointing.

I just got done playing Spirits of Mystery: Song of the Phoenix. I love the entire series and this latest edition does not disappoint. The storyline continues to stay strong and you will enjoy the bonus content as well in the Collector's Edition.
This game combines many different types of puzzles which I enjoy trying to solve. It is not just a HOS game. Sometimes, I get a little tired of all of the dark imagery used in these games. It would be nice if game developers could come up with something new other than dragons and witches and other dark entities. A little boring now.
Regardless, I find the actual game play in this edition to be very enjoyable.

I was very excited to play any PuppetShow sequel because I enjoyed the first one of the series so much. When the 2nd game came out, of course I couldn't wait to buy it and start playing it. It was okay but the theme got even darker and more twisted and so to me it wasn't nearly as fun or relaxing.
Now with this 3rd game, Return to Joyville, it felt more like the original game. I loved how they worked the storyline to reverse some of the darkness of the 2nd game. It was a nice long game, well worth the money. ENJOY!!
This was one of my favorite Nancy Drew games. This game takes you through parts of Italy of course. It allows you to learn some Italian words and a new card game called Scopa, which I wish they allowed you to play outside the game. It was addicting.
My only complaint with Nancy Drew games is not being able to skip certain puzzles. The sapphire maze was especially frustrating, never thought I would be able to continue on but did eventually manage to triumph.
I highly recommend buying this game! Thanks to all of the helpful reviews, I don't regret my purchase.
This is one of those games that as soon as you start playing it you know it will be well worth your money. This game is so well thought out and the graphics are beautiful. I love a game that has multiple layers in the story, this one being the different memories of Luisa and bringing that all together throughout the game. You will never regret this purchase!Well worth your money!
This was a great game. I purchased the iPad version and I was so impressed with the graphics and the 3 dimensional movement in some of the scenes, that it added to the overall experience. I enjoyed this game from start to finish and would highly recommend it.
