What is it with games recently. They are all so short and this is no exception. Are we now getting shorter games instead of the price going up, like less crisps in a packet but they still cost the same as when they used to have far more. I really liked this game but was so disappointed when it suddenly finished which to me normally would have been about half way through. The bonus chapter was incredibly short too. I feel cheated.
Was really enjoying playing this old fashioned game but there is a glitch in the programme that on checking many many other players seem to come across is so much that the game freezes part way through when a rune is needed to be collected to progress and nothing I tried to do i.e. uninstalling and reinstalling etc seems to resolve. I can only hope that the makers sort out this glitch and do a fix so we that have paid for it can play the rest of the game. In the meantime can only abandon and uninstall. I have given the game 4 stars as up until I came across the glitch I was engrossed in it.
I have bought every Hidden Expedition game since they first came out but this will be the last. The last few have gotten more and more lacklustre and disinteresting and this one is the worst of the lot. It looks beautiful, the grafics are great and obviously the developers have put a lot of effort into it but the play is... for want of a better word... wooden. I would only recommend this game to players that are new to hidden object and don't want a challenge. Very disappointed
Loved this game. Lots of games recently I haven't even been able to get to the end before I have abandoned them for being laborious, but this one had sufficient interest and different in the story and locations to keep my interest even to play all the extras. What I liked too was that the collecible's were really hard to find in most cases. For hidden object lovers this is a must
Can't understand a real hidden object/adventure game lover giving this game anything less than 5 stars. I loved it. Wish there was more of this calibre. I thought it really testing and also original in many respects. Like the bits that you had change day to night. Nice and long too. Definitely worth buying.
Like so many Bigfish gamers, MCF games were my favourite and I'd get so excited when it was time for a new one to be released and would buy without even trying the demo. The last 3 for me have steadily left me disappointed and this latest one well... I find it not only very dark visually that it's a constant strain on eyes but also for the life of me I cannot fathom the storyline so it make the game play hard to follow and also the game has faults as several scenes through, the collectibles disappeared and even though I reloaded the game they have gone. For the first time ever I will not be finishing a MCF game as this one is no pleasure to me whatsoever. MCF games used to be the tops but now many other game makers are way ahead in my opinion.
I don't recommend this game.

I loved this game. It really has the old fashioned feel of the original hidden object games I became hooked on years ago. It was nice and long too. There was no help markers on the map of where to go next so at times I did have to use the hint button when usually I pride myself of hardly using it at all and that for me was the only downside. Please can we have more games like this.
There has been some really excellent games released recently.... Rites of Passage, Hallowed Hall to name two... but unfortunately this game isn't in the same league. Story line leaves a lot to be desired and the game play is not at all a challenge, also the game is on the short side. Do not waste your money like I did on collectors edition but if you have won a free game or there is an offer on then for a rainy afternoon when you have nothing better to do then the non collectors edition would be worth a punt when it is released.
A few years ago I would have found this game a challenge when I was a novice but regardless I enjoyed it even though I felt cheated moneywise as it's on the short side.
