you'll love this one! It's pretty much the same game, all done up in holiday trim! I like Chef Solitaire so much that I've already played it twice, and it is about twice as long as this one. Both of these games are a twist on traditional one-up-one-down solitaire, which you'll see as you progress. The holiday theme is beginning to put me in the mood. Thanks, Devs.
I recommend this game!

you'll love this version of Lauraville. It has the same mechanisms as in CH3 but without the sinister elements. Just a thought, CH3 would be a great October game to get! But this episode of Lauraville is different from the others and offers more of a challenge IMHO. This is a definite buy for me.
I recommend this game!

I'm midway through playing Regency Solitaire in regular mode, and I must say I'm loving it! It's a one-up one-down type of solitaire with multiple power-ups, but what sets it apart from other solitaire games are the sheer beauty of it and the smooth play. This game has a story that takes place in the Regency era of England, between 1811 and 1820. We in the U.S. weren't too fond of England during much of this time, but many of us today enjoy stories and characters who came out of this period, such as the Jane Austin books. Women were inferior to men in most men's way of thinking, and they had little power over even their own lives. Women of the "upper class" needed to marry well, which involved either having a dowry or being very lucky. This story is of a woman who hasn't a dowry and who might have to marry a rather odious neighbor. We help her by making goals through playing our hands at solitaire. The graphics are gorgeous, and the lovely, relaxing music fits right in. Gameplay is well thought out and without the glitches many other solitaire games have until their developers fix them. One can play in either "normal" mode or "hard." I love games that do this because I'm able to play them through twice. It's like getting two games for the price of one. I highly recommend this game!

This is one incredible game! Both DH and I are completely addicted. It's mostly 5 card poker with a solitaire layout for choosing cards -- a great format and one I hope to see more of. Like Fairway and other solitaire games, there are many power-ups that can be purchased, and there is a bit of humor as well. (Be sure to click on the men and women playing cards in the intro page, and you'll get a surprise!) There are also ways to "cheat" on this game that were apparently built in. For example you'll never have to pay $1200 to replay a game if you stop just before you finish it, and "perfect" hands aren't all that hard to complete, at least on the first tour.
People have complained that the game is too short, ending at the completion of the 9th city of the US East Tour. This is not the case. I completed all nine cities in gold and was unable to see how to get to the next tour, so I wrote Big Fish customer support, including a Dr. Felix report. I received a very nice email back, including a suggestion to update a driver. I did so, went back to the game, and noticed that there was a transparent arrow on the right side of the page showing the nine US East Tour cities. I hadn't seen that arrow before, but I may have just missed it earlier. I clicked on that arrow and was taken to the Western Europe Tour! So it appears that this game is much longer than it looks. It also seems to be tied into physical days played, as one can choose a new power-up each day, and some of the trophies are for playing, say, 21 cities in 21 days, one each day.
I highly recommend this game for poker/gaming enthusiasts, and I hope there will be more of this new genre to come.
I recommend this game!

I have all of the Delicious games that have been published. I think there are 10 of them. I am only through the first restaurant on this one, but it is every bit as good as the other later ones. There are three levels of difficulty, so one can play through the game three times and it will be different each time. Emily, who has been working in restaurants her entire adult life, took a year off to marry and have a baby. Now she's wanting to go back into the restaurant business. She serves food and cleans up, much like the Dash games. She earns money which can be spent on restaurant upgrades. What sets this series apart from the rest is the huge amount of character development that has been done over the years, making it much more than a TM game. I highly recommend this game to all TM lovers and to those who'd like to try something new.
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed the first Tales of Lagoona, but this one is even better! The attention to detail as well as likes/annoyances of players was very well observed by the developers. Do you want hints? Do you not want hints? Do you want to play puzzles? Do you not want them or do you wish to play them later? Do you want "quests" or do you want to pass on those that don't lead to new upgrades? And on and on. You, the player, can choose. I've never seen so many optional choices in a hidden object game. Thank you, developers! You really listened to your customers.
I think others have described what the game is about; I'll just comment on other aspects. First off, the artwork is spectacular. In many games, I'm all about the artwork, and this game comes through amazingly. I love all of the extras to look for in the hidden object frames: gems, food for the horses, quests, and, of course the hidden objects themselves which are deceptive but not tiny or annoying. Then, when you are done with the scene, you can arrange the "finds" to fit well for sales -- fun!
The puzzles are very enjoyable and often unique. And you can replay them if you like.
Rumor has it that this was going to be a CE, and it certainly has all of the CE features including wallpaper, screensaver, and bonus stuff. What a deal!
The only aspect I didn't like, and this was true of the first Tales of Lagoona, is the quantity of unnecessary dialogue that one has to listen to or read in order to gain a new quest. I suggest to the developers that when they make Tales of Lagoona 3 #and I fervently hope they do!# that they drop the unnecessary dialogue. It's boring and unskippable if one wants to pursue the new quests. #This is why I only gave it 4 stars on storyline.#
All in all, I heartily recommend this game. I think it's a contender for casual computer game of the year, and I hope it's nominated. Great game, developers! Please bing us more.
I recommend this game!

This is one great game! I have all or nearly all of Grey Alien's games, and I've enjoyed them very much. This one does not disappoint. One thing about match-3's is that they're infinitely replayable. I reload Grey Alien's seasonal games and play them again each year. While Spooky Bonus would be a bit much for my 2 1/2 year old grandson, I think it would be appropriate for an older child when played in "relaxed" mode. #Who am I kidding? Those kids are far faster than I am on TM and M3!# The artwork is unique, and I love the music -- both aspects lend a definite aura of spookiness and Hallowe'en while playing the game without being overly scary. The game runs perfectly for me, and I love the large tiles. The power-ups are a blast, literally! The element of being able to decorate "my" home adds a fun and creative dimension to the game, though so far I think some folks from DIY Channel need to help me with it, too. All in all, an entertaining seasonal game for young and old. I highly recommend it! #Now, how about a game for St. Patrick's Day?#
I recommend this game!

I love the games from this developer. I find them relaxing and, in the case of the holiday-themed games (Hallowe'en and Christmas), they put me in the mood for the season. I'm fortunate to be living in the Pacific Northwest, and the park seems like it could be here, though I suppose folks from Maine and even parts of Europe could argue the same. I think it's an all-ages game, and I'm enjoying it as much as a grandma as my grandson will probably enjoy it when he reaches the grand old age of five. The graphics are sharp and clear, make me feel like I'm there at the scene. I'm not a fan of the re-used music background, but I've found that if I turn the music off and leave the background noises, I hear water running, birds chirping, and other realistic lovely sounds of being in nature. I'll echo the reviews of others: try it and see if you like it; you might just surprise yourself by purchasing and enjoying it.

P.S. I'm really hoping that the devs will create a game celebrating St. Patrick's Day!

When I learned that this game was from one of my favorite developers, Rainbow Games, I just had to try it. And I'm sure glad I did! It's visually beautiful, hilarious, and versatile. One can play it either timed or relaxed. It's also highly replayable, making it of even more value for the money. I played through it in "relaxed" mode, and I made up challenges for myself, seeing how I can catch the fewest fish, cut down the fewest trees (they grow back!), etc. I definitely recommend this game to anyone who would like a fun, relaxing, and enjoyable time.

If you want to take your mind off of everything else in your life, this game is for you!
I had played the second in this series of 3 (currently -- I soooo hope there will be more) first and I adored that one. This one is equally good. I'm looking forward to playing the third one, which I already own but am spreading the joy for awhile.
This is a HOG that doesn't leave you trying to figure out where to go next. You do get multiple scenes, but you're never backtracking ad nauseum, as with some other HOGs. You must get 150 badges to complete the game, but that is do-able. Just find as many as you can in a scene (check the information at the top of each scene as to how many are there) and shoot as many "gangsters" (I think they meant "bad guys" or "bandits") as you can during the arcade scenes at the end of each chapter. I'm a very non-violent person, and I wasn't sure I would be comfortable with this, but I found it completely non-disturbing.
I want to add that the music was great -- very "Spaghetti Western"ish and enjoyable. All in all, this is one of the best games I've played (and I've played at least a hundred), and I highly recommend it.
