This is based on the demo. Has 4 modes of play, including Custom. There are collectibles, one of which is finding puzzle pieces. The game seems to be extremely "cute" and, hopefully, not too cute. You find a kitten on your doorstep, which turns out to be a "helper." The Christmas star is missing, and without it, there will be no Christmas. Puss in Boots is the evil one in this game. The story is told and done, mostly by animated cats.
I'm not a fan of Christmas games, but find this an extremely sweet game and somewhat fun. Would recommend it for children 8 or older.
If you like Christmas and games about Christmas, I think you'd enjoy this. I might buy it, but not at the regular CE price.

This is based on part of the demo. There is only one mode of play. Written words, no voice overs. Lots and lots of HOS, no interaction. Arrows point to where you can go. You can skip the tutorial after a little bit of game play.
The game does have (or tries to) have a sense of humor. Little Red Riding Hood is a pretty blond, and the "wolf" is a hunky guy! This game would be good for young teens or beginners.

This is based on the demo. As the other reviewer said, there are only two modes of play, easy and casual. This is a very basic, mostly, HO game. I used a free game code to get it.

This is based on the game, which I purchased. Don't have a lot more to say than what has already been said - only that I am having a lot of fun playing this. Lots of variety, and again, just plain fun!

I know this game got 100% approval rating, but I disagree. Just finished the game. Think I only found two cards and one pair of shoes. After game was over, they never gave you a chance to see and/or find what you had missed. Also, at the last puzzle, the instructions for making the bomb were wrong.
I enjoyed playing the game, but was very disappointed in the above-mentioned items. Somewhat recommend the game.

I agree with the other reviewers. One interesting thing about this game (maybe the only one), is if you clicked on a certain area, it would tell you about abandoned asylums in other parts of the world.
Way too many HOS and the same scene over and over.

This is based on approx. 10 mins. of demo. There are 4 modes of play: easy, normal, hard or expert (don't remember), and nightmare. The story revolves around murders at the town zoo, which is to be closed. There are voices, but you see captions, not moving lips. When you find objects, you get additional hints. It's not a great game, but a good time-passer. I used a free game code. It won't hurt to give it a try.

This is based on approx. 15 mins. of demo. Three modes of play; only encountered 1 HOS so far. Graphics are good. HOS was fairly interactive. Found the game to be fun to play, and will either buy it or use a free game.
I recommend this game!

Based on 12 mins. of demo. Game graphics are old school. You have to play through each chapter, and can't save and leave, or you have to start over. Did seem like fun, if you like this type of game. There are voices and written text. No hints or map, although there are several walkthroughs available.
I do wish I liked this game, but it sort of gave me the creeps!

I'm playing this game and loving it. Wasn't going to write a review since so many others already have, but after reading some of the negative comments, had to write. Really wish there were more scary, creepy games like this one. I do find it to be creepy and scary and, just love to be involved with a plot like this. Would like to comment, there is one reviewer who seems to not like ANY game. Feel sorry for them. (don't know if I'll be allowed to include that comment, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way.
