What a confusing, disjointed game, with a storyline so far fetched that it defies logic. I don't take away from the developer's fantastic technical abilities, but the game concept is not well developed and the storyline did not flow. There was no main character that a player could connect with, which left it without a common element that tied everything together. That being said, I admit that I am not a huge fan of "mystical" games with gothic, unearthly creatures that need to be defeated with orbs, spells and rituals. Although the graphics are quite acceptable, the hidden object and mini-games are simplistic and offer little challenge. And like most other games on the market, this one has too many challenges that depend on finding, or matching, mystic symbols. It has it's amusing moments, but not enough to make it a buy for me. Nor do I recommend this game.
I don't recommend this game.

I quit my membership with Big Fish because many of the games were becoming too "Harry Potter" like. Magic symbols, gizmos and runes that have no bearing in the real world, or honestly make no sense to real people. My mind is just not that dark and mysterious. But this game, this game finally makes sense. A saw that actually cuts wood instead of a shark with jagged teeth. Mini-games logical to solve, but not too logical to make them easy. The whole game, so far experienced in the trial, just makes sense. The storyline is not outrageous. Meaning it's believable. Not too many games released recently provide the common-sense approach that makes this game such a joy to play. Congrats to the developers for bringing a bit of the real world into an otherwise cosmic genre so alien to most normal folks. Maybe that crap manifests itself later in the game, but so far in the trial, I applaud EVERYTHING.
I recommend this game!

If you want to play this game, leave yourself plenty of time. I have a really fast computer (it's new), but it frequently takes a MINIMUM of 10 seconds to reload when changing locations, completing hidden object games, skipping cut scenes etc. It's like it freezes between sequences, which makes it a tedious game to play and takes away from the good points. The hidden object searches are original, although the objects difficult to find because the scenes are a bit blurry and dark. The mini games are a mix of the new and the old. While when you are actually PLAYING the game and not WAITING for the game, it's okay, but sadly, the lag time makes it a game I would not recommend.
I don't recommend this game.

The visuals and sound is good, the storyline, while interesting, is a bit garbled and at times doesn't really seem logical. One of the reasons I only gave it 3 stars is because there is a 5-6 second lag time when changing locales, or skipping mini-games which makes the game somewhat tedious to play. Also, when you collect an object to use, you have to mouse over it to find out exactly what it is if it isn't immediately obvious. But in spite of the glitches, I would recommend this game.

Poor graphics, bad sound, no game play options that we look for in a game from the 21st century, EVERYTHING is slow moving, too much back tracking for one item..... I'm too bored to say more.
I don't recommend this game.

What I mean by confusing is that there are too many cut scenes, too much "helpful" dialogue that really adds nothing to the game play. Personally, I'm not a fan of games with amulets that are needed to do repetitive tasks throughout the game. Playtime soon becomes tedious, boring and uninspiring when you know what comes next. Three things developers probably don't want.
Recognizing that some people might like this game, I will recommend it.
I recommend this game!

A very boring game to play. Unlike many other match 3 games, this one has no "wow" factor. No bells, whistles, special effects worth noting. Almost an hour in, the only way out of a jam was a hammer, and only one icon type could "fill" the hammer. I had to restart the second level because I was backed into a hopeless situation where it was impossible to advance because of poor game design. Nothing is worse than wasting time playing only to find out there was no way to win the match other than to start that level over again. I played "relaxed", but the levels were increasingly difficult to get through without any power ups available to put a little interest into playing the game. Each level ended with a monotone male voice saying "Level Complete". Even that was boring. So, if you want to spend an bit of time with eyes glazed over clicking the mouse button with little care or thought about what you are doing, this is the game for you.
I don't recommend this game.

Not a bad game. The graphics were pretty good. I think the best feature is the antics of that silly little frog which gives the game a certain smile appeal.
And for those who thought combining cartoon characters with "real" actors was unusual. Not so. Think of the movies
Avatar, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Mary Poppins, to name a few.
I recommend this game!

Like all the other PuppetShow games, this one is interesting to play, with great graphics and some mini-puzzles that required a bit of thinking.
Unlike the other games in the series, I was disappointed with the length of this one and it had a REALLY abrupt ending. However, my review is based on the SE game, not the CE, which was probably longer. As much as I enjoyed playing it, I disliked the length just as much.
I recommend this game!

The game was o.k. but nothing special. The visual quality is quite good and for the most part, hidden objects have the right degree of variation and are relatively easy to find without having to put your nose against the monitor.
Only a couple of the mini games were challenging. As for the rest, I found them boring and mundane (swapping tiles, rotating puzzles etc.), just like a thousand other games out there. I do hope that the developers are making an effort to come up with new and innovative mini games that take more of an effort to solve - and this would increase the length of game play.

I cannot comment on the music, story line or voices - I mute voices and music, and skip cut scenes.
I recommend this game because I think it would be suitable for those who are new to the gaming community.
I recommend this game!
