OMG! This game is stunning! Not only is it pretty, but the visuals are only the icing on an AMAZING cake! The puzzles and HOS are unlike anything I have ever seen before! It has an awesome story line and the whole thing is so well done! I have to agree with the other reviewers who are calling this the game of the year for 2013! I could not agree more! KAPOOYA! This is it!

I think this is one of the best games that I have played this year! The storyline is fun and spooky (just in time for Halloween) and the collectables (portraits) are fun and interesting! The graphics are compelling and the puzzles are well done. The HOS are not weird like so many other games, but well done. All in all, I LOVE this game! Bravo! I want more like this!

I would have been all over this game if it were a SE. I can't understand why they put it out as a CE game. It's pretty, and it's great idea but I just don't see the level of gameplay to qualify it as a CE. The graphics are alright but it really puts me in mind of a much older game, not a snazzy new CE. There was NO (zero, zip, nada# challenge in the mini-games #at least in the demo which only lasted about 45 minutes) That would have been okay for a laid back Easter Sunday, but not as a CE. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the storyline. I would love to finish this game, but I am fairly sure I can wait till it is a SE and get it with a free code. It's definitely worth playing, but not as a CE IMHO.. Looking forward to it being an SE game.

I am so impressed with this game! I ususally pass on most non-CE games, but I am so glad I gave this one a try! A+ for sure! As soon as the demo was over, this was a buy! It has a great storyline, a little spooky and new. There is a twist in that you have to find these creepy worm eyes (EEEWWW!!!) but it is neat! The graphics are pretty good (I have bought CE games with worse graphics) and all in all, I am SO IMPRESSED! I have my eye on this dev and will look forward to new installments from them.
I recommend this game!

The best thing that I can say about this game was that at least it was short! This game was TRULY HORRIBLE! I love scary things and to me, the headless horseman is one of the scariest, so I was SO excited to see this game! I tried the trial and I thought it had potential and would surely get better. HUGE MISTAKE!
If you like trying to find invisible or tiny objects and having to go on pointless missions, then this is your game.... As for me, I hated it!! The hidden objects, which I usually find entertaining, was frustrating because the size or color of the object that you were supposed to find was often not the same size or color of the object that they showed you. The hidden object list were a little better, but often they were either in shadow as to be invisible, too small for the human eye to see, or behind other things. If you tried to click around in frustration, the cursor would fly apart and it would tell you not to guess, but you usually had no choice!
The tasks were either so easy that it was insulting, or they made NO SENSE whatsoever! For instance, at one point, you had to put a retort (a beaker like object) in the fire with some sulfer on it. I had the retort and the sulfer, but I could not put it on the fire. I went into the next room and talked to a ghost and got another object that was not related, and then suddenly, when I went back into the other room, I could put it in the fire. STRANGE!!! Some of the items that got into your inventory were called "strange object". At one point you look for a "symbol" which turns out to be a fleur de lis. SO, it has to be done in their order and in their perfect spot and you have to figure out what they are talking about! Oh and add to it that things don't make sense and there is no reason for half of the things that you do....
I was rooting for the horseman to lop off my head by the time it ended, and I could not even bring myself to play the bonus content, it was just terrible! Save yourselves $10 and send me a thank you! I literally fell on this sword so that you don't have to! You're welcome!

This game was awesome! The playtime alone makes it worthy of the CE price. The plot is interesting and the story line is dark and fun (just how I like it!)
I played this game all day today (literally) and just finished the bonus game. It was really enjoyable. The puzzles are not too bad but skipable if you get stuck.
There are a lot of HOS and some of the items are pretty hard to see because of the graininess of the images, but again, the hint recharges fairly quickly.
There are a lot of different scenes and the game is quite long. I used the SG a good bit because I was in a "what do I do now" kinda place, and unfortunately, there is no map to zip back and forth with. That is really my only gripe with this game. Otherwise, I HIGHLY recommend it! Great game and very fun and worth the CE IMO.

So I must admit I have played better games, but I have also played worse. It's an old school HOG that is trying to be a new snazzy game. It has potential but lacks the Pizazz and spark of the newer games. I had a free credit that I needed to use, and I was hard up for a game (thus the broccoli reference) So, if your starving for a game, this game will keep you alive til thursday when the "good" game comes out, but it will probably not be your first choice. Hope this helps.

This game is stunning, unfortunately it was WAY too short! I was done with it in less than 5 hours (and I am a slow-ish player). To be fair, I have not played the bonus game yet. It just seems like, for a CE game, it was REALLY SHORT! Had it been longer, it would have been an easy 5 star! The story is just neat-oh!
Also ***Here is a Biggie*** The puzzles are really not puzzling at all. That is unfortunate because the game is really amazing! I so wanted more! I usually play through most of the puzzles and skip a few if they are way too hard or don't make sense. All of these were super easy. None of them had me puzzled at all. I think a 10 year old could wiz through these.
I really do love the game! The premise is awesome and the graphics are excellent! Even the voice overs are good! WOW! I want more, but .... it was over so quickly. :-(
I would recommend this game, but maybe as a SE not a CE.

I was not a huge fan of the first Surface game until I got a little more into it. I bought it and didn't play it for a long time. It took so warming up to, but actually turned into a VERY good game (if you get past the train#.
I was eager to try out this game, and I was NOT disappointed! This is a very fun ADULT game #I would not recommend this for a 12 year old# I thought the puzzles were intriguing #thought I did not care for the magnet puzzles over much# they are, however, something different which is what I really crave. There was a good amount of HOS but not so many that you felt like that was all you did. The puzzles were good. There was a good bit of back and forth to get items, but the map was very convenient and allows you to go back and forth quickly and easilly. The only thing I had a little issue with was that not everything made sense #ie.. Why am I going to this place?# but the hint button and map made it not too frustrating.
This game started out with a bang and followed through! It was really neat! Unlike any game I had ever played. The puzzles are good, the art work is excellent and the voice overs are... well their voice overs.... Super Cheesy! I had fun watching the fakey fake hand movements of the nurse. #They were BAD BAD BAD!!! but Oh so funny, so take it with humor#

That being said, the story line was really great! I loved the intrigue and the idea of Noise, the alter-ego. I REALLY wanted the uncle to be a pervert. That and how often she said she was a good girl and minded her uncle. Hrmmm.. Maybe that would have been too dark IDK

This is not my "normal" type of game. Usually I Love the Hidden Object games, but I decided to try this game, and WOW am I glad I did.
This game is addictive fun! I absolutely love it! I had thought that the story line was going to be superfluious, but as it turns out, it changes the challenges and makes this all the more fun!
It's relaxing fun! Not overly hard, but it can offer a challenge, especially at the end. I HIGHLY Recommend this game! Try it, I bet you will like it! Bravo!
