I'm sure most others found this game fun, but I play Mahjong for relaxation and having to worry about being fast enough makes any game to hectic. Not a go for me, but most others will probably like it.
A thrilling gem-matching adventure awaits those who dare to explore the jungle of the Aztecs, where untold treasure lies hidden deep within an ancient temple!

I bought this a few years ago and didn't care much for it so I deleted it. Was recently looking through games that I bought and uninstalled for whatever reason from my computer and decided to give it another shot. Right from the start I felt like a helpless child being dragged through the game. Did not have the feel of the original games to me and just left me frustrated and angry with the constant lectures about what I needed to do. Took all of ten minutes for me to decide to uninstall it again and would love to sell this game back to the developers! Would I recommend this game? A most vehement NO WAY! But, to each his own.
I have loved these games for the most part since they came out, but the difficulty of accomplishing things in this one is aggravating! When I play a game I want to relax and just "zone out" on some menial game playing. I find snails that move around and change the blocks back to gold to be stressful and stones that cannot be removed without hitting them with an arrow, when you can actually get them to line up at all, to take almost all of the fun out of playing. I bought this the first time a year ago and didn't enjoy it much so I deleted it. I saw it in my history and decided to give it another try, only made it through about seven levels before my frustration level exceeded my tolerance level by a factor of about 100. This game is an emphatic "NO!" for me!
Kept the game for a couple of months trying it several times a week and nothing about it made me want to keep it. Finally had enough. I have several later games of these and have had a good time with them, this one was the worst so far.
Played the demo. Just wasn't impressed.... didn't make me care about it. Great looking scenery, but looking for tiny, hard to see items is just not fun. A challenge is always great, but many of the items went beyond challenging.
Yes.... I said buggy! I've had this game for since it first came out and have played it a LOT! Yes I've enjoyed it.... yes I'll keep playing it. My problem is I have found times when you finish the game and it ask's you if you want to play the harder version, you can click yes and start the gane again and suddenly find your still playing the easier level. Other times I've seen the game start with such a high target score that with nothing to work with it is impossible to to achieve those scores. In all the years I've owned and played this game, I have never been able to get all the awards because when I get 100,00 in the Destroyer, it tells me I need to get 200,000 more for a total of 300,000 to get Silver. Then it zero's the destroyer out and instead of only having to get 200,000 more, I have to get 3000,000 more. Also, on any other match three game, if in the process of making a match, you get another match because of how the tiles fall, if that match give you two or three of the same kind, you don't get the benefit of the match like you would if you made it yourself. Yes.... I maintain this is a buggy game and it could be fixed by the programmers.... unfotunately, there's no money in fixing poorly written software. The follow on version of this game, in my opinion (for all it's worth) is horrible!
I really did enjoy the beginning of this game but found the second part, or "expert" mode to be almost impossible to finish! I was able to finish it once, but the expert mode took me months to get through. I'm not saying I like it to be really easy, but spending money on a game that leaves you SO frustrated is really not fun... at least to me. I'm going through the expert mode again and am just not enjoying it at all! This game does an excellent job of working against you with some levels being completely impossible unless the initial board set up falls into place in your favor. Personally, I won't recommend ANY game that is this frustrating. Doesn't have to be easy, I like a challenge as well as anyone, but when it consistently works against you, then it's a waste of money!
Played it several times, just couldn't get into it. Montezuma 3 will probably always be my favorite of the entire series! In some games a story line is needed to be able to understand where it is going, but not in this series. The challenge of the tiles and the time limit to me were the most fun. The wife likes Montezuma 4 but me? Not so much!
