There are so many things to recommend this game. The graphics detail on the small machinery is excellent, and just watching the little engineering feats of the rescue workers and their equipment is amusing in itself.
The game really required me to think and retry to get the gold. I played the entire game through once, gaining mostly silvers, and went back for the challenge of getting the gold. Having said that, it IS doable! The game mechanics are subtle and somewhat sophisticated, so I was never ever bored. If you like MKFTP or Viking Brothers, for example, you will probably love this game. To my way of thinking, it's even better than the Rescue Team series, which I also enjoyed. I highly recommend this to anyone who is seriously addicted to TM games.
I was very pleasantly surprised by this game! If you like My Kingdom for the Princess, Royal Envoy, Kingdom Chronicles, etc., this will have the same appeal. The level of challenge is similar, with some levels needing to be replayed in order to get the gold. The beginning is deceptively simple (and isn't that true for games like MKFTP?) but the game becomes more challenging as you go along. Clearly, a lot of thought was put into designing the levels; on several I had to think it through a few times before I got it right. This game gave me several days of fun and challenge, and I truly hope there is a sequel!
I very much enjoyed this game, having played it from start to finish now. The level of challenge was perfect - I had to play several levels more than once, but could achieve gold on all of them with a little persistence.
The ONE and ONLY reason I have this game four stars is that the mac version tends to freeze/crash when you are doing demolition on a building from time to time. If they could fix that little bug, I would give this game 5 stars. (I of course reported this issue).
To give you an idea of what I liked about the game, my favorites tend to be those that give me the same challenge and playability as MKFTP, Royal Envoy, Roads of Rome.
