I am going to keep it fairly brief today (since I'm not feeling well) and say that I absolutely love this game!!!
The last Danse Macabre was fabulous and this one promises to be even better. Overall, I have been disappointed with the game choices as of late. I don't personally prefer a ton of gimmicks to stretch a game and prefer quality content. I respect that there are those that do like them.
Eipix totally delivered here with fun and imaginative story-line, HOS's and puzzles.
My only personal peeve is this metallic sound that happens every single time you hover over anything and there is no way to turn it off without turning all sound off. I suggest giving us an option to turn it off in future games.
This was a definite buy for me and I highly recommend this game!
Enjoy this beautiful adventure set in a unique interactive 3D Thailand! Complete mysterious puzzles and find hidden objects. Prepare for an unforgettable experience!
Wow, This game is quite a unique gem in the sea of fantasy HOPA's.
I was immediately drawn to it from the opening scenes. We play a teacher/explorer with a lovely British accent. How much more charming can it get? We arrive in Thailand to start an exciting adventure and meet some extremely amusing characters. Based on the number of chapters it appears to be quite a long game which will please many.
This game is mostly adventure based; there are some very unique and intriguing puzzles (which can be completed in 3 levels of difficulty) and a few HOS's. I am a huge fan of puzzles, and the harder the better. I love how they give us (hard core puzzlers) the ability to challenge ourselves, while allowing others to chose the easy settings if preferred. All devs should do this as this will please a wider range of players.
The only thing that took away some of the fun factor for me were the controls. This game is very much touch based and was originally released on mobile devices like iPads. The player must drag each and every item on the screen and this is can be quite painful for those of us with any pain problems, or weakness in our hands. Also when you hover over the inventory bar, you have to click on each item to get the name of it. That is way too much clicking and dragging for some of us. It would be easier if the items were stuck to the mouse cursor. Fixing this aspect would make it more enjoyable for me personally.
I absolutely love this game but am on the fence whether I will purchase it for PC or my iPad instead. I am sure that most players will love this game so I highly recommend it!
This game is basically golf solitaire mixed with a little hidden object and adventure. I thought the graphics and music were great! The music clearly emulated the theme from the "Jeapardy" game show. Listen and you will know what I mean :-)
There are some neat features that I like such as combos for getting many cards right in a row, and ability to replay the levels for a higher score.
The only thing that ruined this game for me is that there is WAY too much silly dialogue that can not be skipped and must be clicked on repeatedly for each sentence. For those having any type of neurological pain in the hands this is really not fun.
Note to devs: Please consider those of us with disabilities when making these games with an incredible amount of clicking involved. Please allow us to skip when we need to.
I recommend this game if you enjoy card games with a twist, and if you like clicking your mouse a lot!
Sorry, but everything about this game is not fun. I have loved farm games for a long time and played just about all of them. This game made absolutely no sense. The tutorial is nonexistent and you really need it here since nothing is intuitive. After fumbling around with zero progress I gave up. Also, while you are trying to figure out how this game works, your neighbors keep grunting at you for not doing anything right. Sigh...
I really hate to leave such negative reviews, but this game is just not for me....sorry!
Norma Shine is a movie star that is at the height of her career. Upon arriving home she found mysterious death threats that left her shaking. Together with the Mystery Trackers detective, she arrived at the abandoned and plague stricken town of Blackrow to investigate the source of the threats. No sooner had they arrived, Norma was chloroformed and snatched by a mysterious figure. Along your journey you find mysterious alchemical symbols which you can examine with a new age device. Who or what is behind these threats? Your trusty dog Elf is there to keep you company on your journey, just as in the previous Mystery Trackers Games.
This is the 7th game in the Mystery Trackers series, and most of them are wonderful games play.
This game is brimming with collectibles and extras. Collectibles include items you spot with your device, and glass pieces that will form a beautiful mosaic when joined together. I am not sure is something special will occur when it is finished, but I bet that is a great possibility. I did not come across any morphing objects to my chagrin since I really love those. Maybe my eyes are not very keen right now (in the middle of the night lol).
Also the "Secret Room" is back by popular demand, which includes bonus game-play on top of the bonus chapter. A number of recent Elephant 'games' have stopped including it like they used to. I am very pleased by that change.
Although the whole 'movie star' and 'starlet' games have been done too many times recently, I was very impressed with the game so far and decided to purchase the Collector's Edition. This game seems to be light on the HOS and have more interesting puzzles (which pleases me much). I have come across some totally new and innovative puzzles that I have not seen before. If you are not into HOS heavy games like myself, you will enjoy this game a lot.
The games released lately were disappointing and this one seems very promising, spooky, and mysterious. I recommend this game.
I recommend this game!

PuppetShow: Lightning Strikes Collector's Edition
The women of Paris are being turned into puppets! Can you find out who's pulling the strings?
This game had potential if it were not for all the annoyanced I encountered. I have purchased all the other "PuppetShow" games but I will not be buying this one I'm afraid.
Although the story-line was interesting, the game was overly simplistic for me. Also, there is this annoying bar that shows up at the top and shows you 'exactly' what to click on, and there was no way to turn if off. Also despite clicking to skip the tutorial, it would show up repeatedly, which was frustrating.
The story-line was interesting, but I just could not continue being annoyed with the constant hand holding and the bad spelling and grammar. A spell check is needed for this game.
I was always a huge fan of ERS, but lately they are producing a huge number of games in a small time-frame and I feel like they publish games without polishing and proofreading them. I hope things improve for future games.
If you don't mind the grammar and hand holding issues, I think you will enjoy this game!
I don't recommend this game.

Sable Maze: Forbidden Garden
Your parents always told you to stay away from the mysterious maze behind their house... and you're about to find out why.
This is a decent game if you have not played any older "Sable Maze" games. As I mentioned in my Collector's Edition review; the magic is gone for me.
I am a huge fan of the older Daily Magic games such as the first 2 "Sable Maze" games and the "Dark Dimensions" series. Unfortunately, this game is a bit disappointing considering this is one of my favorite developers. They went from dark and eerie games to sugary sweet fairy-tale games in line with other devs (including an exclusively blue/purple palette). Why not create an entirely new series instead of adding sugar to a previously dark and thrilling one?
I miss the darker games with more realism that made this developer stand out from the batch. Seems like most of the games are geared for children nowadays, although based on my research they are played mostly by adults in their 30's and up.
We want some adult oriented games please! I can't wait for a new game to come out with something other than sugar sweet games with "cutesy" animal helpers, fairies, and magic portals (although I enjoy them in moderation).
If you are into the type of games that I mentioned, then this will be a good game for you. If you enjoy all the bonus extras, I recommend the Collector's Edition.
The best part of this game was the story-line. At the very beginning I was drawn in, and was anticipating how the story unfolds and to finally see Lynn and Edward get married. At about the one hour mark however, an upsetting situation made me stop playing.
I came across a puppy who had a big raven feather pierced through it's paw with a sad face. I thing this was a bit too cruel dear developers. For once I wished I found the object needed to help the poor animal immediately. I do not like leaving a suffering animal in pain while I take my time looking for inane objects. I love scary games of all kinds with all types of content, but animal cruelty really bothers me. It is completely unnecessary in these games.
Another personal peeve of mine was Lynn's voice and manner. This particularly voice actor (to me personally) sounds rude and pushy to her mother. I recognize this as the same exact voice that played Cory in both "Nightmares from the Deep" games. Although those games were wonderful I did not care for her bratty and pushy attitude with her mom there or in this game. I am not a parent myself, but even I cringed a few times with the "tone" Lynn was taking.
Finally, the imp was starting to get on my nerves as well. He was constantly pausing the game-play while waving a banner that tells you the objectives and when they were completed. There should be a way to turn it off for those that don't like it.
Without these frustrations, this game had great potential and would have me playing until the end.
I don't recommend this game.

Sable Maze: Forbidden Garden Collector's Edition
Your parents always told you to stay away from the mysterious maze behind their house…. and you’re about to find out why.
I am a huge fan of the older Daily Magic games such as the "Dark Dimensions" series but this game is a bit disappointing.I am sad to have to say anything negative about one of my favorite devs, but honest feedback is important here.
I miss the darker games with more realism that made this developer stand out from the batch. Seems like most of the games are geared for children nowadays, although it is mostly women in their 30's and up that play these types of games. We want some adult oriented games please!
Now they have taken the route of other developers of making sugar sweet games with "cutesy" animal helpers, fairies, magic portals..sigh. Although I love a good fairy-tale game, I need my serious fix once in a while also. Also many developers are borrowing ideas from each other so much lately, it's hard to tell which brand is which nowadays, and blue seems to be the new color. Most games have been awash with so much blue lately. Don't get me wrong I like the nice colors, but all these games are starting to look the same.
I like games to be unique and different, and not cookie-cutter replica of other games with the same story-line. I don't think I am alone in this opinion.
Looking forward to more "serious" games by Daily Magic in the future
I recommend this game only to those who like the same "cute" story-lines with magic portals, fairies, animal helpers, etc...
A strange and deadly pollen is spreading around the world, and you’ve been hired to track down its source. But the secrets you discover in the fabled kingdom of Floralia are much darker than you imagined...
What can I possibly say to give this game justice?
I nearly jumped out of my seat when I saw that a new "Dark Parables" was released by the great developers "Blue Tea Games". I have been waiting for this release impatiently.
In this game journey we will meet a "singing" Rapunzel! That's right folks! We also meet 2 surprise guests from a previous game...wohoo! Talk about an interesting spin on a fairy tale! I immediately purchased the game without hesitating and was not disappointed in the least.
When the game started I immediately felt at home on a Dark Parables journey as I have been many times in the past. This time we are exploring Mount Snezka, Chechoslovakia. All of the previous games in this lovely series had exceptional hand drawn graphics, exquisite story-lines, and unbearably beautiful music. I have been compelled to replay these games many times to savor every moment.
This game series is not really difficult, and it is very much fairy-tale based; however, it is a series that seems magical to me. It is a perfect escape from real life and to immerse yourself in a stunningly beautiful world with an equally compelling and beautiful story. I will spare you the rest of the details so that you are left surprised, but I highly recommend that you try this CE version, since it has so many extras. This time they even included achievements. I don't remember having them in the last games. There are cursed objects (morphing) to collect as well as flower-stones, and parable notes.
I am loving it and highly recommending all of the games by this developer and to play through all Dark Parables Games! They are just magical!
