A pretty game with beautiful artwork and lovely fantasy locations. An organic look where globes are lit with fireflies, flowers grow on the walls of Hobbit-like dwellings. Villians are not too scary and the theme is not too adult. The HOs are mostly interactive and the puzzles are standard. The map takes player to location witha click. Only negative is that the back button is so close to the inventory box (as in many other games). I will purchase this game, but based on previous player review, will probably wait for the SE.
Over and over the same nightmare is following you: your sister Anna is trapped in a strange existence, begging you to help her escape. But what if these are not just random nightmares?
Crisp, clear and primary-colored graphics; interesting ( though not too difficult) HOs and a sister story featuring young people would probably suit beginner and younger players.Probably won't hold the interest of seasoned players.
This offering from BLUE TEA is an overly-colored conglomeration of messy artwork. Inventory items are small and basically indistinguishable from one another. The HOs are collect the parts of a royal diadem or warrior shield. The collections are too many and randomly scattered. The story could have worked if the devs had stuck to it. Try it before you buy it.
A late-night subway ride takes a bizarre turn into a mystical cemetery. You have been summoned by a strange entity to free the cemetery’s lost souls. Will you succeed, or is this the end of the line?
Another good-looking game from ERS. Have all the Redemption Cemetery games and like them all including this latest. Could have done without the rechargable raven and feel that the whole animal helper thing is over used. The puzzles (my favorite part of HO games) are mostly challenging though some are tedious with clicking, turning, switching, clicking, turning and more clicking. Must admit that I slipped several half way through rather than continue clicking, clicking ....... If player likes the rest of the series, he/she will probably like this one. If not, this game will probably be just more of the same. (The worker tied in the power plant looks like the young founder of Facebook?) Five stars for a good series.
A really good-looking game with an interesting storyline and excellent puzzles. There is a lot of running around, but the hint button and map take the frustration factor out of the searches. Just pleasant time spent playing this better-than-average game.
What can I say except to agree with the majority of previous player/reviewers of this good-looking very entertaining and playable game. Thanks for the reviews.
This could have been a really good (not great) game. The artwork is colorful and intricately rendered, puzzles are OK, HOs standard, but all areas of interest, inventory items and details in the scenes are SOOOO SMALL. Recommend if player can get around this glaring distraction in an otherwise good game.
When the entire audience disappears from a film screening at an old theater, you must go behind the scenes to find out who is running the mysterious Nightmare Cinema!
Played the SE and found this game to be the usual fare. The demo and first-half graphics and puzzles are better than the second part which becomes a little gray and lacking in detail and the story sort of fizzles out. This player is a consumer with little knowledge of how these games come to be, but it seems that there are two teams developing most games; the 'A' team for the demo and first half of the game and the 'B' team for the completion of the game. This seems to be true for so many games. Recommend if you don't expect too much. As usual, try before you buy. But, we can't always trust the demo to accurately represent the entire game.
