I'm definitely the odd one here. I didn't like this game. after reading the reviews I was psyched to play it... but if I was one who played JUST FOR SOUND EFFECTS it would be a great game. I played the trial for 35 min and STILL had not one single power up and not even a simple shuffle. NOT my kind of M3.

This has always been a fav of mine. I feel it's not a good one for beginners, as the challenge is pretty steep. This game is unique, mysterious, and captivating. It is NOT: pick this up, use it here, find this, go back a screen and use it. It's refreshing in it's atmosphere(s) as well.

Why I chose not to purchase:
1) The atrocious English was a real turn off. I don't mind a couple of mistakes, but some of it made no sense at all. 2# The map is useless, not that a map has to be interactive to be of use, but at least give some relevant info. 3) Whenever a box comes up, you have to hit the X to get it out of the way #as opposed to just clicking anywhere outside of the box). 4) After using a hint, you have to wait tooo long for it to recharge in casual mode 5) The skip takes entirely too long to recharge 6) In the hour trial, the two minigames I encountered were both math related. Many people like number puzzles, I don't. 7) Overall, the game was clunky and just did not flow.

This has always been an old fav of mine. Its different and fun, and the further you get in the game the better the mini games get. Some of them are quite challenging.
I recommend this game!

I love this game.. Herbert is SO CUTE!! kudos to the devs for giving this game a bit of flare. This game has a bit of a different feeling to it while playing, it's hard to pinpoint precisely but it's just not the usual, click it, use it, move back, & repeat. I like the map, too, which is interactive. And you don't have to wait a few months for the skip/hint buttons to recharge. Incidently, i had no probs with waiting for it to load between scenes.
I like this game, but then I like all BoomZap games. I give it 4.5 stars. Map isn't needed because yr not clikin' a thousand times back & forth.. it' not innundated with HOS's #which I like# but when they do appear they're interactive. There was one little thing which nauseated me... the voice-over for the little girl on the train was BAD. She sounded like an adult transvestite with a nasal problem.
I do recommend this game. esp. if you like the Awakening series, as its similar.

WAAAYYY too many HOG's... AND it has a rapid click penalty to boot... too bad 'cause it's a real pleasure to play otherwise. So for me it's a no buy, but I would definitely recommend this game to those who are not yet BURNED OUT on HOG's. Keep playin'... it'll happen. Oh yeah, another big reason I won't buy is because it won't fill my big screen #laptop#. That's a definite deal breaker.

The first one, Cursed House, was also a great match 3. You can tell they really put thought into the mechanics of the game. Anyone notice that on both games, if there's a "doable" match to be had, all you have to do is barely touch the appropriate brick and it automatically makes the match for you? This makes for a real fast, consistently flowing game. Even while your first match is cascading you're moving on your 2nd match. Good job devs.
Once upon a time in the small, undistinguished town of Silentville people started disappearing. Help uncover the mystery behind these disappearances and save the town from a curse!
Remarkably interactive HOS's, (and not too many either, just a strategic sprinking of hos's) a cool portal map, and somewhat of a challenge. Crisp, clear graphics, and a catchy background tune that for once i don't have to mute. Did i mention this game is interactive? wow. Also, most of the mini-games are new & difft. I believe some folks will agree w/ me, if you play a game or two a day for years, you get tired of the same ole' game play. They become redundant & brainless, just new scenery. You begin hunting for originality. One Moment of Time: Silentville is a nice change. BTW, i love the "shoot the ball into the baskets" mini-game.
After Shaban's sheep are stolen by thieves, he sets off on an epic adventure to get back what belongs to him. Help Shaban on his journey in this intriguing hidden object adventure game!
Great game! Finally something different and somewhat challenging rather than the same old, everyday run-in-the-mill Hog/Adventure where you pick somethin' up & use it in the next screens. Plus, I enjoyed seeing the compassion toward the sheep, and you get to play in two difft. characters. Everything about this HOPA was refreshingly different, which for me gives it replay value.
