Although this is not the strongest chess App around, or have tons and tons of features, if you balance out all the really cool stuff, with the "not really critical" stuff it lacks, its still my overall favorite chess app! It seems like I have had it for about 20-some years! The graphics and board choices totally rock, especially since this aged program was built on almost ancient OS and hardware systems. I think I have version 1.1, but I have seen a higher version number such as (3.0.0.?) ?
My biggest gripe might be that in my version, I have not figured out how to take back my mistakes! Also, it runs on my Win-10 non intel PC, and I can not even remember what the original OS was? It plays about 1900 strength which is about my rating! This program proves that there is a such thing as very intelligent design! For 10 bucks +/-, this is a real bargain! Buy it and enjoy! Not sure if there is a FAQ for Win 10? It took a little time for me to configure for WIN 10, but I got it working just great!!! Have not found anyone to play online or in network mode, so I have no idea how that would be set-up, but once its set-up playing battle chess online would be a blast! Its a sneaky and talented opponent!
