Fishes, I have not done a review for ages. But I wanted to speak on this game and games in general specifically in respect to reviews.
I played the CE demo to the end. I enjoyed it. I was captivated from the dramatic start. I kept going to find out if the demo would prove interesting and it did. There is action, good interactive HOs and innovative puzzles. Yes, there is a bit more dialogue than usual but it is all part of the fun. The protagonist operates like an action figure. The graphics is good and full of light, not dark and dreary. The voice over actors are drawn beautifully and well played. I think there is a shocker coming which may give a very unexpected ending and I want to know if I am right and what it is for sure. I recommend that you try it out for yourself. I am buying it.
We fishes are playing so many games sometimes I wonder if we mix up reviews. Some terrible games get many 5 stars while good games are kicked in the teeth. I have just taken upon myself to play some bad review games and found some of those ‘bad’ games that fishes spit their guts on to be excellent and vice versa of course. You chance buying a game with good reviews without checking it out and you might regret it because some fishes give five stars like scales dropping off their tails. So now I am checking everything for myself before I buy.
Also some fishes give an extreme detailed synopsis of the game that just throws me off as they have destroyed all the surprises with spoilers. We have read the brief from the developer telling us what the game is about. Tell us how well you enjoyed it or what you disliked about it without telling me the entire story.. aaaargh!!!!!
Hey on a lighter note Fishes comments sometimes make me burst out into laughter so loud, I even pass on the joke. Fishes can be funny too. Bye now.

This review is based on playing the full demo in Advance Mode.
My interest was captured from onset due to the lifelike start and the first crime scene.
The VOICE OVER shows well done lip movement that is quite realistic.
The STORY is good and creates a desire to get to the bottom of the mystery with you the player being the detective. The game play follows on queue with tidbits to take you on the journey to discover the criminal. I like games that stay on the story and this one seems to do just that.
The GRAPHICS, excellent, ornate, colorful, detailed.
The TOOLS OF PLAY, a little scientific but easy.
The GAMES, easy, familiar, with a different style but remember I only played the demo.
The HOSs have some unique twists that made me want to play them. Normally I like hidden object games but hate HOS that are just a pile of useless junk to seek through or silhouette through. Not this game! the HOS are interactive and I looked forward to doing HOS.
The MUSIC is not bad but not great. Importantly though it was not irritating and was intermittent.
The MAP fantastic teleportation to places of interest or to places with things to do AND TELLS YOU WHERE TO VISIT LATER. That you can change by going to a harder mode.
The MODE, there are four levels of play and you can change it later to any degree that you want from casual play on wards.
OVERALL, I do like the entire style of the game, the developers spent time to do it well. HOWEVER with one exception, I DISLIKE black screens and the game gives that and I could count up to eight sometimes before it changes to the area that you are going, BUT when it does it is worth it.
I am giving this game a 4 star and I highly recommend that you try it, at least play the demo and see what you think.

This game is good fun and my review is based on advanced mode. Several things made me smile: The cryptic remarks of the agent. The narrative summary of evidence is much like a detective movie. The words used for the script is out of the ordinary with a humorous slant that I really love. For instance in reference to The Four Aces club the antagonist says "they have audacity in spades".
There are many mini games with interesting new twists plus several new ones. Some are fairly easy while others are quite challenging. There is much to do, everything is interactive in this murderous adventure, where the agents life is under constant attack and people are literally getting stabbed in the back and murdered in other ways. Helpers given are not cute and cuddly nor would you want them to be when your life is on the line moment by moment, you do not want cute. Some aspects are a bit frightening but not horrifyingly so.
The logic behind the adventure is realistic most of the time and the entire thought process behind this game makes for an enraptured experience, showing most definitely that the developers spent time to make this great thriller. Why four stars, a tiny bit too many HOS but they were good HOS. Yes of course I do recommend the SE. Money well spent.

When you enjoy words choose this game. Quite entertaining with many options. For instance you can go for a quickie game of up to 75 points and win in one shot. I beat the CPU all the time and I am not playing in easy mode. I prefer to be challenged. Definitely it uses words that I have never seen and I learn and I still win.
I also get to use my own music and my own background pictures when I tire of theirs and that is an added bonus. Winnings and best words are recorded along with other things that you wish to record.
Why I often win? I guess it is because I take the time to figure out the best word using all or most of my tiles and I will take the time. I will get up and leave for a while and return to look at the tiles again and lightning strike, I have a word using all the tiles. I wish there was a timed mode to form a word, I may have to time myself to create this added option. By the way this game allows you to play with someone else too. Fun with this game is extreme. I always loved playing Scrabbles and family members dislike playing with me because I always win. So I am pleased to have found this game.

A good family game. Put on your thinking cap and explore exquisite drawings of a strange land with a good story which will get you immersed into the adventure. Interestingly unusual characters. Unique puzzles and good HOS. Absolute help too if you need it. I was very much entertained playing this game and I highly recommend it.
I recommend this game!
There are screams heard in Silent Hollow... Trouble at the Mystery Trackers headquarters means you're called in to help.

I almost missed this game. My review is based on advance mode. Wonderful interaction - keeps you on your toes - gives your thinking cap a work out. Good length too and captivating. Excellently mastered cut scenes. Vibrant antagonist. Interesting characters all real, like a movie. There are a lot of fun things to do. The mini game puzzles are invigorating in their uniqueness but I never asked for help during mini games in respect to what I had to do, I just played them and never skipped. Most enjoyable. Oh, I did ask for help a few times when I missed some small item which I needed to move on. The map and teleportation is wonderful. It is like a mini overview of the entire game area with clouds obscuring the areas that you have not yet investigated. I as the investigator had exciting powers. The graphics is quite realistic. Let me not say more and leave you to explore in a mode of high expectation, you will not be disappointed. I hate reviews that take away all my surprises. This game is worth every penny. I recommend it most emphatically!

You like adrenaline high? Then go for this game. This game deserves a five star but it scared me so much, it had my stomach in knots. Therefore, I am giving it a four star :(
My goodness, what a horror, stay aware from this game if you are a scared little bunny rabbit.
Everything about this game is excellent. The level of challenge is outstanding. You better put on your thinking cap but if you get stuck, good help is there for you. I did not play in casual mode as I like to be given a chance to think through obstacles for myself but I do want an option to tap into help if I need it. That game gives you that option.
Oh but it is creepy, creepy, creepy. I would pause before going to another area, and actually build up my courage to go there. Then yikes!!! I liked it but I will not play it again and I am thinking of deleting it. Even writing about it gives me the creeps. I definitely recommend this game to those of you creepy fishes out there who like a good adrenaline high.

I found this game captivating. It is a new twist to the Cinderella story in that the wicked queen has gone to a new level of evil, she has found a diabolical way to stay young forever. The game never wavered from that good story line, which for me is an essential criteria in a HOG or adventure game.
Many interesting HOS and many unique enjoyable and thought provoking mini games. The adventure demands that you think of what to do next but the game does not leave you stranded and lost, if you need help there is good help available. If you are like me and you like maps that teleport, you have it in this game. The characters are entertaining in their attitudes and a few are even a little creepy but in a fun way. The voice overs are good and so are the cut scenes. I definitely recommend this game.

I really enjoyed this game, most entertaining. The graphics were picturesque with lots of eye candy that made you smile at viewing each new area. But importantly, the game did not rely on this only to capture the gamer.
The storyline is good and the game never swayed from the purpose of the story. I like that! There are many unique mini games to enjoy, they made you think a lot. Fantastic voice overs and smooth cut scenes which blend without black screens in between (I hate when games do that). The HOS are well thought-out displays and are enough to add interest for HOS lovers without being overdone. The characters are stunning in their mannerisms and outfitted in detailed splendor that sometimes I actually paused just to look at them. I definitely recommend this game.

I am buying the CE. Blue Tea has done it again. They have developed another classic, to enjoy slow, like drinking Blue Tea, enjoy it to the last drop. I am captivated by The Crooked Man and the Crooked Cat CE. Based on 30 minutes into the demo in normal mode:

Wheeee I am excited, oh dear I won't sleep, I have an exciting game to play. Hahahaha Do I recommend it, YES, YES, YES!!!
