This could have been fun if there had been an option to turn off the tutorial and hints at the start of every board. Having played the other MatchVentures games I was looking forward to this one, but the constant hints that couldn't be turned off or ignored ruined it for me. Might be a good choice for less experienced players.

This is an enjoyable game to play, with lush, well-drawn landscapes and an interesting story line. I had to take away one star because you can't go back and find collectibles and morphing birds that you have missed. It does have an indicator at the bottom of the screen to let you know if there are collectibles or morphing birds in the scene, if you remember to look at it. Other than that this was an enjoyable game.
The latest version of this series is nothing like the previous three. There is almost no challenge to the early stages. The music and sound effects are annoying. The graphics are cartoonish. There is only one game play mode - limited moves. When you beat a level you have to click on rewards to get them. Even the building scenes are poorly done. It almost seems like a different developer did this. If another version is done I hope they go back to the original format and forget this one.
Based on the demo. Aside from the cartoonish graphics with balloon dialog, you can't turn off hints, a major defect for me. I think this could be a good game for kids or beginning players, but not for me. Uninstalled after about 10 minutes.
This is without a doubt the best Match 3 game I have ever played. The graphics are excellent; the music is appropriate to the scenes and is not too repetitive. The levels get progressively more challenging, to the point that it took me around an hour to complete each board in the higher levels, and I had to switch from timed to untimed. Aside from the main objective there are bonus objectives you can complete. For me the best part was the story line. The characters are interesting, and the dialogue has a subtle humor to it that increases the entertainment factor.
If you like challenging Match 3 games with quirky characters and an engaging story line this game is for you.
I was a bit disappointed in this game. The description sounded intriguing - visiting different sites in India and completing different artifacts. The graphics are very good, and the music is appropriate and rather good. The levels, as far as I played them, were pretty easy.
The problem I have with the game is that there is no story whatsoever. No avatar, no introduction, no background information on the different sites, no characteristics of the artifacts or even any idea of why you are gathering those particular items.
If you like a straight match 3 game with good sound and graphics but no story whatsoever this may be the game for you. I need a bit more.

I quit and uninstalled this game after 5 minutes due to unwanted tutorial that I could not disable. No interest in games that don't give me that option.
I found the storyline of this game intriguing, so I decided to try it. Your niece Emmy has retreated into her mind and you have to enter her dreamscape to see what's causing it.
Gameplay: Two levels of difficulty - casual and advanced. I played advanced, but there was still info on how to use the map, which I didn't need, and a somewhat annoying teddy bear that you acquire in the first scene who keeps commenting on different scenes and gives (for me) unwanted tips and hints. The map appears to be interactive, but I didn't use it. Scenes load quickly, and I had no errors or lag times.
Artwork: Somewhat cartoonish, but not too badly drawn. Scenes are dark until you restore them, at which time they become very colorful. Cut scenes are just still images with voiceovers.
HOS: Slightly interactive, and some objects are small or in the background and hard to find. I didn't have to use the hint on any of them.
Challenge level: Medium. I had very little trouble figuring out what to do.
CE extras: None that I could find other than a bonus chapter and the usual wallpapers, etc which I don't care about.
Overall, the story was interesting, but the visual quality was just OK, difficulty level was medium at best, and the lack of any achievements, collectibles or morphing objects means I'll be waiting for the SE version.
It might be OK for beginner and intermediate players, although because of the dark atmosphere and the storyline involving childhood fears and nightmares I don't recommend it for young children.
Quit this game 5 minutes into the demo when it insisted on giving completely unwanted help in combining items even though I selected the no tutorial option and the highest level of gameplay. If I'd wanted help I would have selected another option. Devs need to remember this.
Confront an ancient evil and uncover your true! After a startling revelation changes your world forever, you must embark on an epic journey to save mankind.
I found the description of this game intriguing, so I downloaded the demo. It loaded well, but the graphics of the intro were static, more like a graphic novel, with no animation. The opening scene was drawn well, but once the action starts the visual quality is just OK.
The game is somewhat sluggish, with a noticeable lag when scenes change or when you complete an action. The HOS are OK, with some interaction. The voiceovers are well done, and can be skipped, but again the characters are static.
There are two levels of difficulty. I chose the more advanced level, but there are still sparkles where actions need to be taken. Even on advanced the puzzles are fairly easy for experienced players. Beginners and intermediate players may find them more challenging.
There are no achievements, no morphing objects, and no collectibles, so for me this is not worth the CE price. When the SE comes out I'll probably use a game credit to buy it since I did like the story line. If the story is more important to you than the mechanics of the game you may like this one. Less experienced players may find it more challenging than I did.
