I bought this game in 2009 ... and, in that time, loved it.
Today I played again! WOW, what a difference!
Games have greatly improved in every way: storyline, graphics, sound, challenge, motivation ... everything!
Graphics are like comic, good voice over and the story is not bad: mother and daughter and trapping people in a museum after an earthquake.
The father, more concerned with the precious relics, and less with her daughter who is lost, asks his wife, while searching their daughter through the rooms, collect the rarest objects.
Anyway, a only HOS game, with good story but not exciting.
Outdated.

Find the Tomb of Isis and finish the search that Robert's Grandpa started! Travel the globe and find clues that will help you!

Could be an interesting game ... the story seems reasonable, graphics and sound are ok.
Although they are easy, HOS have good visibility and are interactive - sometimes need to use objects from inventory.

But ... impossible spend more than 40 minutes playing, my patience ran out with Robert popping up every mouse click, or every change of scene.
To make things worse, he tells what you should do, or where to go, and says something about every thing that appears - ie every 5 seconds !!
Very annoying, Robert has more time to talk than you have to play.

What a annoying game! Running, digging, planting and watering flowers ... incessantly!

Sorry, but I can't recommend...Half an hour was already lot of wasted time!
I don't recommend this game.
Appease terrifying ghosts before they kidnap and punish the entire city of Sunnyvale in this dark and mysterious Hidden Object game!

I had already played the SE on the PC, and and this 2nd time liked more! I'll wait for the Mac SE to buy it.
Although the story does not bring much new, it is still interesting and very well done. Graphics are clear, sound is not loud and locations are numerous...but .... it is very annoying to be going back and forth to them all the time!

The plot is enthusiastic: you have to help the boy, Menes, condemned to be burned at the stake for killing a couple of Ulthar, to prove his innocence.

HOS is one detail of the scene, with good visibility, not messy, as usual. They are not really challenging. In expert mode, hint don't fills fast.
There are many places to explore and you have to go back and forth to them often. Although locations are not far away, sometimes it's boring
Mini games are the usual, at least in the free trial ! Also not very challenging.
In addition to objects along the way and the HOS, you have to collect 24 cats throughout the game.

The participation of the comic character, the ghost hunter Mr. Hobblepop, short and fat, with funny face, contributes to appear that will be a fun game.
But...despite having excellent graphics, sharp and colorful, good voice over, and ghostly sounds well appropriate... is a really disappointing game.
Except for those who like plain HOS !!

I played the CE demo and now the SE.
The movie at the beggining is very well done, good voice over, beautiful effects... and already took me!

- Gorgeous graphics, amazing soundtrack, very good storyline, really imersive atmosphere.
- Many different and interesting locations to go, and many things to do in each one ( but ..., unfortunatly, you have to go and return many many times to complete tasks)

Although story seems a little confused , - a mix of angels, psychiatric hospital, seven capitals sins, spirits ... a bit of everything..., it's an entertaining game.
Graphics are very well done, pleasant music, great atmosphere, curious environments.
HOS are not challenging, but are enjoyable.
Mini games are well know, and not really challenging too.
Hint fills very fast.
But is a nice pastime!

I thought I would go insane going from the Forest to the Lake and from Lake to the forest... nonstop .... collecting the same things: grapes, wood, bamboo ...
You can only pick 10 items at a time ... after the tenth time doing the same thing, at the same place, I had no patience to go ahead!

I really enjoyed!
The story is attractive and pretty well developed, great graphics, locations in accordance, immersive atmosphere, very good sound.
Not all locations are clear, but is ok for the mysterious theme.

Lot of HOS, most are easy and pleasant - no tiny or almost transparent objects, thankfully !!!!
Mini games are not challenging also, but enjoyable and there are some news.

What I liked most, and is different from some games, was that instead of getting back and forth all the time, you go through "portals" (mirrors, fountain...) and enter in the same scene, but in the past, to get things required to go ahead.
And the best,...is not just find! You have to take them to the future in "some way"!... They do not go into your inventory.
