Didn't like this at all. Graphics seemed like playing an old console game from the early 90's. I played 4 minutes of the trial and was bored. It's a No from me ;)

I have purchased and played all FF games, except the last one, This one I thought was going to be great, but it seemed extremely slow. Took a couple of attempts at clicking on things to make it happen, and if i'm going to play fast paced games, i expect them to be fast. Sorry not a purchase for me.

I really enjoyed this game, so much that when the demo finished i had to purchase it with game credits. I love the graphics and wanted to know where the graphics for the game came from....Deponia is a pc game, And I would love it if Big Fish could get it at some stage *slight hint there*

My review is based on the demo, before I knew it the demo had finished, and I was just starting to get into it! :( Yes the beginning starts off a little slow...I don't understand why another reviewer said there was no story line :/ I do like the idea of starting with no stars and having to build them up instead, a bit more of a challenge, yes she doesn't zoom around like diner dash and such, but I didn't mind that either. I'm going to purchase this with a game credit because I am determined to get 3 stars on each level!! :p

If it was possible, I would give this game 4.5 stars. I purchased this game after completing the demo, finished the main game and headed into the expert mode. I love games where it is frantic clicking to get to your goal...keeps me on my toes...The ONLY downside to this game, and the one thing i have seen mentioned elsewhere in the reviews, is the precision of your cursor, Extremely frustrating to have to click on something more than once to pick it up, or go to pick up a topping and pick up the one next to it...even though your cursor was directly on top of the topping you needed. If the devs could fix that then this would be an awesome game. Yes the minigames are a little boring after a while as it is the same thing time and time again. but I really did enjoy this game despite the issues.

I like VF1, so foolish me purchased this without trying a demo, thinking that graphics may be a little better, people may move a little quicker...But no...People move slower than ever, graphics are very similar to VF1, you have to have 3 or more generations in the one house to unlock better furniture, and controls?? omg!! Terrible!! the cursor goes where ever it pleases, while you are trying to move around your screen to see the rest of your house it bounces from top to bottom and gets extremely frustrating. Then your family gets sick....often....too sick to work, to earn money, to heal them.....I wish I had never bought this game, what a waste of money.... :-(
This review is based on the demo. So far i have thoroughly enjoyed this, and am planning on purchasing. Visuals were great, the music was fine, wasn't annoying that i had to turn it off. The mini puzzles, actually make you think, but...so far...haven't been too hard that i have had to skip anything. I don't mind the interactive map, but then again i also dont mind going back and forth between scenes. I like the fact that I can either watch the cutscenes and listen to the characters talk, or read the text and click to keep going. The hints button/person, is the young girl called Fiona who pretty much tells you what is available, such as "you can use the *something* with the *something* now. (nope not gonna give it away :p Not sure what the recharge for hints is, as i didn't use it too often and didn't really keep an eye on it.
Louis the Clown and Mr. Dudley are back in an all-new adventure! Travel through the dark corners of history's most famous fairytales to rescue children trapped in a frightening netherworld!
I didn't mind this game, and would of purchased it, except for one thing. The inventory window took a bit to open, and i get frustrated with simple things like that :D so if you don't mind that..buy it :-)
I thoroughly enjoyed this game and purchased it without playing the demo, all based on other reviews. I like the dark side of the story, made me jump in a few places. I like the fact that the HOS aren't random bits and pieces that are not tied into the story, they are pieces you need to find to create an object that needs to be used for you to proceed. I loved the length of it as well...and apparently...The Story Continues!! I can't wait!!
I really enjoy these types of games, but especially when out of the blue they make you jump (maybe i should learn to play with speakers instead of headphones >.< ) Most of the puzzles aren't too difficult that you have to skip them, some HOS, but again not too many that you are inundated. This was just a review from the demo, but have just purchased the game so i can finish it :D The hints are good in the casual mode...if you need them...I am going to try this in the other modes just to see how far i can get..
