I bought this game after the hour demo. It was so refreshing to find something different, especially in a match 3. I rarely look at Big Fish anymore because I am so burned out on creepy hidden object games. This game was worth my time and money. 115 levels! Many of them took me multiple tries to complete. Fun graphics, but doesn't take up mega space to download (another reason I've stepped back from BFG). The gameplay is unique in that you must plan your matches to affect the surrounding pieces. The powerups are useful and practical, though few; they are attainable through multi-matches. The mini-games are fun, but it would have been nice to have less mahjong, and maybe some Sudoku. The hidden objects were challenging and cleverly disguised. I had to use the hint a couple of times. I didn't find the music or sounds annoying, but I keep those turned pretty low as a rule. I found this game extremely playable. After completing the entire game, it randomly selects levels for you to play again if you want to continue gameplay. This ones a keeper for me.

At first, this seems like an extremely simple marble popper. However, I bought it after the trial and I have probably logged more than 40 hours on it easily, and still haven't completed every challenge. Yes, sometimes it cheats, and it's frozen up on my 60th try at beating one of my times in Challenge Mode. But it keeps drawing me back. I am still working my way through at Master Level. This is a deceptively challenging little game, but well worth the money (especially if you can get it on special, like I did).
I recommend this game!

Based on the full hour trial. Reading the reviews while the game downloaded, I did not have high hopes. I'm also not much of a Mahjong fan because I feel the genre is inherently boring. But I had an hour to kill and felt like something relaxing. This game delivered. As the game description mentions, it's a mahjong game with cards instead of tiles. As soon as I started the game, I went to the options menu, lowered the sound, (as I usually do) to the point I could barely hear it. It was okay, no more grating or repetitive than any other game. I also flipped through the card choices until I found the one with the largest type-face. It was great. I didn't think the cards were too small at all. With an abundance of powerups and wild cards, I was able to complete most of the games in "level mode" in two minutes or less, and didn't lose until level 1-24. The difficulty increased by reducing the number of face-up cards. The hour pretty much flew by in a relaxing manner. With 500 maps, one would think they were getting their money's worth.

Based on one-hour trial: The trick here is that you really have to pay attention: your next ball can change depending on where your shooter is located. It picks up whichever ball is underneath it. This makes rapid-fire, planned ahead shots a little more challenging. The hour went by smoothly and I only lost one life. It's a pretty relaxing game. Response time was good.

Based on 1-hr trial: I quit playing marble poppers because they got rather boring for me. However, this one seems very simplistic at first glance, but I does have a fun twist to it: at random intervals, the track changes position and sudddenly your line of marbles is somewhere else. Although I didn't lose a life until level 27, trying to shoot through gaps and hit monkeys kept me entertained the entire hour. I will probably buy this game during the next sale, just to have a marble popper.
Based on a one-hour trial: Simple time passer. Not challenging at all really, but good for just passing time in a pleasant way. I liked that the power ups were not initially defined and that you have to release certain fish to achieve them. Also that they didn't automatically regenerate, which is not necessary given the limited challenge of this game. I was not sure what it took to achieve "champion" levels as there is no rating system that I can see. Graphics and response were good. I also liked the small size of the download. The hour passed quickly and pleasantly (music turned way down). Won't buy as I am not a club member and wouldn't pay full price, but might buy if I remember it when a 2.99 or 3.99 promotion comes up and I want a match 3.

At first I was skeptical, especially after reading the other reviews. However, I found this little game addicting. I played the demo only. I played in timed mode. There is some strategizing involved in order to move the pieces where you need them. And speed gives you more points. The powerups were unique and useful. I turned the music off immediately, before I began gameplay and turned the sound effects down. The graphics aren't great. As I said, I found the gameplay addicting. I'm not buying it, though.

Happily, the mechanics of this title were smoother than any other TM game I have played. So I bought it on sale. The graphics are cute. The levels are pretty easy...I got gold on the first try on all but a few of them. Only took three tries for gold on three levels. I would have liked a gradual progression of difficulty. And the game was way too short. An okay buy for 2.99. Good for TM beginners.
