This was a great game. Beautiful graphics. Bright, vibrant colors. The artwork was so realistic... I loved the way Tiny Tim looked and, well, I just loved the environment that was created by Elephant Games. It felt so Christmasy (of course, that was their goal. Well - they succeeded! :P).
I loved how Elephant Games thought of everything the player could possibly do. For instance, I tried giving the poor boy some candy and was given a message that said that candy was no substitution for a good meal (the meal which would be bought with the money). I tried giving candy to the imp hiding under the chair in the beginning part of the game to get back the notebook and they said that imps don't succumb to bribery. I tried getting the bird in the tree down with a long cane but was told the cane wasn't long enough to reach. It was just so awesome because it shows how much time and effort Elephant Games put into making this game.
The hints were perfect. Didn't give away too much, didn't give away too little. It would have been nice to have some hints on mini-games (other than the information given which explains how the game works). Other than that, everything was well-laid out and I didn't need any help from online guides etc. about 98% of the time. Everything made sense logically (not necessarily realistically). There was never a moment where I was confused on an item to use and there weren't like several different places it could be used. If you had a key you knew which room it was going to be used on.
An overall wonderful game! :) I loved the references to warrior cats, too! Haha
Can't wait for the third game??? I HOPE SO <333
PS. The one time I regretted the graphics skills of Elephant Games was when I was making that raw goose.... Yuck lol
I recommend this game!

Fate's Carnival was truly an amazing game. The amount of extra content was remarkable. Not only was there a bonus game, there was also a secret room where you had to solve puzzles to get the sneak peak for the next game. The music was superb, the graphics were STUNNING. GREAT JOB ELEPHANT GAMES!!! WOOOHOO! Beautiful color scheme and lots to interact with. You could even click on unrelated items in the hidden object scenes and interact with them. For instance, there was a parrot that if you clicked on it, it would flap its wings and squawk.
It was awesome to be able to have access to the music, concept art, and desktop wallpapers! They were awesome!!!
And Solitaire is always fun. Buying things for Isis and pampering her was a blast as well.
There was just so much to do. The game was very well laid-out. The only thing I didn't like was that after the first half of the game, I started to get a little confused on which items I should use where. I would never have thought that I would use an item the way I did and that got a little annoying. But overall, AMAZING GAME. It's great to see MCF returning to games like Dire Grove, 13th Skull etc.
GREAT INSTALLMENT BIG FISH AND ELEPHANT GAMES!
I recommend this game!

Hi all! This is my second review ever (I reviewed Dire Grove in February 2013).
I have played Escape From Ravenhearst 3-4 times and I think it is a great game. Some people may think it is inappropriate or disturbing but to each his own. It had a great plot and I loved the idea of seeing the story through the mind of Charles. There was always something to do and rarely ever did I get stuck. The Case File was detailed and entertaining and the different areas of the game were all beautiful and intricate. There weren't a million puzzles and they when there were puzzles they were very varied. Some of them were memory or strategy but there weren't any random luck games.
Overall a superb game and my favorite so far. Great length, lots of areas to explore, lots of things to see and do.
I recommend this game!

Dire Grove was a great game but it could be very difficult at times. The plot was awesome and the snowy setting was great -- the outdoors were so beautifully made. I liked the scattered videos because it gave us a better idea of the plot. However I got stuck a lot and had to use an online walkthrough. Challenging games are really fun but not so challenging that you have no clue what to do half the time (which I found happened quite often in this installment). Overall -- great game, very challenging.
I recommend this game!
