This game could be very enjoyable.I love the big easy to see letters. But one thing ruins it. You only get so many hints, shuffles , and undos, then you have to buy them. Why? What did the game maker possibly think was being added to the enjoyment of the game by doing this? And replaying is frustrating because the board changes each time, so you can't try to figure a level out. I maybe got through about a third of the game, had had enough and uninstalled it.
This game was fine until I got to a level that no matter what I did I couldn't get through it. In stead of the boosters I prefer a game where you can save up wild cards for a tough level. Maybe if I was willing to play on and on and on I'd finally get it, but that's not my style. This turned out to be a waste of money.
I have the other three Imperial Island games and found them very enjoyable. However this time, someone in their wisdom decided to make this a limited moves games, with no option of choosing an alternate setting. By level 7 I was already having to repeat, so quit. Whoever thought it was good not to give options in play, has made a very large mistake.
I bought this game because the previous two additions were very good. This one leaves a lot to be desired. First of all there's the arcade where you play brain teaser games. Except after the third one you're told you need to complete a puzzle to unlock the fourth. What puzzle? Where is it? So you're left doing the same hidden object, and look through the pile to find pairs games over and over. Then there's this ancient turtle who is supposedly clearing debris from this huge area and it just makes the game sluggish. Really there's nothing about this game that's worth the price. Spend your money elsewhere.
I enjoy a up down solitaire probably as much as any other kind of game, and more than most. I also like a game that's relaxing, that let's you slowly get into the game. With this one though , by the third hand I was already at a level of challenge that I would expect after at least a full hour of playing. If it was already like this after such a short time, what would it become? Too much work to be fun.
This was a very enjoyable game at first. But then came the dark scenes, with objects hidden in shadows, that could only be found by accidentally, or using a hint, and still not seeing what you were looking for. Then there were the shields that were nowhere to be found. I don't mind being challenged, but not being able to see an essential element of the game at all is a little much. Some levels were quite easy, maybe even too easy, in that they asked for the same items over and over. I got just over half way through the game when I uninstalled it as it was giving me more headaches than pleasure.
This is the third game I've got from this series. The first Flower Mahjong, I enjoyed very much, the second Ocean Mahjong, not that much as several of the game types I didn't care for. This one is a little different than the first two in that instead of playing 7 different games twice for each level, you play 5 different games 3 times. I like all the games except the level where you need to find the two cards without mates. It gives me a headache. I have noticed the scoring is much harder this time than with the first 2 installments. I rarely get over 1 star. Not that it matters, I really could care less if they had stars at all. One rather odd thing happened just a while ago. I played the cards with out mates game, by doing nothing but hitting the hint button for each level. I got 3 stars for it. Weird.
Even though I chose the easiest option, I like a relaxed game, I tried twice and couldn't even get through the first game. The cards are very unattractive, and it's hard to even know what the numbers and letters are. The background artwork is less than inspiring. There are plenty of higher/lower solitaire games out there that are done much better than this. Save your money for something better.
This is another horrible match 2 card game by a company, I already swore I'd never get another game from. The games start out good, but soon have you in a sadistic grip, where you can't get through the levels unless you spend major time on each one. Well, I'm not doing that. I wish I would have noticed who put out this game before I wasted a bonus coupon on it. Thank goodness at least it didn't cost me any money
Cathy is chasing the dreams of others instead of her own. But once she discovers her passion, her strength will be put to the test. Will Cathy stay true to herself?
So I thought this looked like a cute game, and it had 3 skill levels. Might as well give it a try. As soon as I saw the format, I knew I had chosen the wrong game. I know a lot of people like these serve the customer grab the money games. I hate them. They're just too frantic. The worst part though was figuring out how to quit. Why do some games have to make this so difficult. Do game makers think people will change their minds if they're trapped?
