Nice game, but annoying dwarf (as usual...) I like it because the storyline is good, and the puzzles are interesting, rather easy. There are not many HOS, but I didn't mind. Just wanted to relax for a few hours, and that's what I got.
The storyline is very interesting. The graphics and voice-overs are great. The HOS are easy; you can switch to a matching pair game if you want. The mini-games are also quite easy. You collect evidences, helping you to reconstruct the events that happened before. You become the help of a strange prisoner. There is an interactive map allowing to jump to a location. The hint system is good. The journal contains also a task list. The gamelength is ok for me; about 3 hours in Expert mode, and without skipping.
The residents of Bitterford, Maine have fallen prey to a terrible curse. It’s up to you to unravel the series of mysterious events that led to the town’s downfall and uncover the evil that was responsible.
As long as you don't compare this game to the other MCF, it's quite ok. There are 2 game modes. The graphics are good. The HOS are clear, and the mini-games easy. The map allows you to jump, which is good since there is a lot of back and forth. The hint system is good, telling you what to do next. What I don't like: Either you watch the whole cut-scene or you skip... And the big problem for me: the psychic talks too much... The game is not too short; without skipping, it took me about 3 hours.
As other ERS-games, this one is pretty easy and linear. There are 3 game modes. The graphics are great; everything is clear. The HOS and mini-games are easy. You have a clues list. There is no map, but you won't need one since the game is logical, and there are not too many locations. The gamelength is ok; for me a bit more than 3 hours, without skipping.
In this game, the locations are the HOS. The objects are quite easy to find. Sometimes you have to go to another location before being able to complete the first one. The mini-games are on the easy side, but interesting. There are fleur-de-lis to collect in the various locations, as well as other objects. There are many trophies to earn. The hint system is ok. The game is rather short, for me a bit more than 2 hours. I would recommend it with a punch credit or as a DD.
If you have a problem with occultism, this game is not for you... There are 2 game modes, but sparkles even in the Expert mode. The graphics are not the greatest, but clear, even in the HOS. The mini-games are interesting, on the easy side. There is a journal but no map; it's not a problem since the game is quite linear. The hint system recharges quickly. Without skipping, it took me about 3 hours to finish. All in all, a good game, with interesting puzzles.
This is not a HOG! But it's full of puzzles. The graphics are great, as usual for ERS. There are 3 game modes. The mini-games are easy. The diary is helpful. There is no map, but the game is pretty linear, so it's not a problem. The hint system is like "nothing to do here". The game is rather short; without skipping, I needed a bit more than 2 hours to finish.
This ERS-game has the great graphics I like. I played in Hard mode, but there are still sparkles showing the HOS. The mini-games are easy. The journal is a summary of the story. There is no map, but no risk of getting lost. The only problem is the length of the game.... Without skipping, I needed only 1 1/2 hours to finish it... I still recommend it, since it's a nice game.
The storyline is good. The graphics are mostly clear, sometimes blurry, but the objects in the HOS are easy to find. The mini-games are easy. The journal is helpful. There is no map, but when a location is complete, you can't go back to it, so no risk of getting lost. The hint system is good, recharging quickly even in the Advanced mode. There are achievements to earn as well as 25 eyes to find. Without skipping, it took me a bit more than 1 1/2 hours to complete.... This is really short... I would recommend it with a punch credit or as a DD.
The story is good. There are 3 game modes. The graphics are clear, even in the HOS. The mini-games are mostly easy. You have a journal but no map. The hint system is good. The ending is a bit abrupt, and the game is rather short; for me, in Expert mode, about 2 hours. But I've seen worse, so give it a try.
