I've been a fan of the Phantasmat series since the first one. It had that certain *something* that makes a game awesome to me. Although I've liked some of the stories better than others, they have all been interesting. (I would say my biggest reason for choosing a game is the story line.) This installment does not disappoint!
The graphics were wonderful. The voice acting was really exceptional--I was especially taken with the voice of Dr. Corvine. I was completely immersed in the story world.
I recommend this game!

If you're looking for a fast paced game with all the bells, whistles, and buzzers, look elsewhere. If you are wanting a fun game that will fill in some time without straining your brain, this could be your cup of tea.
That being said, I found this little game to be rather enjoyable. The story line is cute, and I like the style of graphics. I played about 30 minutes of the demo, and decided to buy it (using the St. Patty's Day discount). I think it's worth $5.
I recommend this game!

I did like this game, but not nearly as well as the first ones. Somehow, the story did not flow as well, and just didn't capture my interest. I found some of the HO scenes had the objects too "blurred" into the background. The mini games were ok, but for me, were often too frustrating. I thought that the instructions could have been worded more clearly on some of the mini games, too. It's an overall ok game, but disappointing compared to the others in this series.

This is the one higher/one lower type of solitaire game, so in that it's typical. Cartoon-y graphics, a silly sense of fun and a wacky story line make this one a buy for me. If you didn't come with a sense of humor installed, though, you may want to try a different solitaire game.
I recommend this game!

I usually really love the MCF games, so I didn't even try the demo before buying this. But it seems to me they really dropped the ball on this one. The scenes were drab and boring, unlike other MCF games which just make me sometimes want to just sit there and admire the scenery. And Lea Thompson, whom I usually consider a good actress, is really kind of awful in this. She just comes across as corny and unbelievable. I also found it aggravating that the developers seemed to feel the need to hold my hand all the way through the game ("I have more drawings! Come get them!" ... Go *here* next!) The "bonus" content was disappointing, as well. My advice is wait for the standard version...or just pass this MCF by completely.
I don't recommend this game.

I get that there is more content in the CE games, but this one, the ending was just...bad. The story pulled you right in and then it just STOPPED. I'm sure the CE had more info in its ending, but in my opinion, the regular version should have a more solid ending. I'm disappointed I bought this one.
I don't recommend this game.

I was anxious to play this sequel, after I so enjoyed the first Haunted Halls game. It didn't disappoint! The story was interesting, and the graphics are really stunning. I found myself just sitting a few moments and looking at the scenes.
I found the puzzles to be challenging, without being frustrating. The hidden objects were hidden without using shading to fade them into the background (which I find incredibly annoying!) I really enjoyed the interactions in each chapter.
I think these games are on a par with the MCF games and I actually like them even better. I hope to see more in this series!
I recommend this game!
