Going against the tide but I for one liked it, different atmosphere and the fonts change to 'readable' after a few seconds.[the devs.I think were trying to give more atmosphere by using font that looked like runes ]...I also appreciated the 'reminder' of collectibles to look for :)
The only thing I did not care for was the lack of what to do in a few mini-games but I ether worked it out or skipped it when I started gritting my teeth .
The art-work, music, story-line and general environment with a little touch of humor here and there I enjoyed. Also the hidden object scenes were a nice change of pace & I liked them.
Little PS ... I usually play with quite a few interruptions due to our Doggies demanding attention while threatening wet carpet if I don't respond to them when i'm playing :/ Therefore "easier games" are easier to keep up with ;)

Thank you bunches my fellow fishies , because of your reviews I bought and played this goody SE game and totally enjoyed it.
I especially liked the hog scenes and was surprised when I found some had a morphing object in it .
I also really liked the graphics style and music,my little 'helper' did not demand anything and the games flow was easy to play in between interruptions (Doggies always 'have' to go out as soon as they see me at my desktop )
I recommend this game especially to play in between more intensive ones when I like to let the ole gray-matter relax ; )

My fellow Fishies have given good descriptions about this game :) Although the story-line is a little hard to follow, it isn't bad and a WT is not needed as the hint/map tells you all you need to know.
I really enjoyed the artwork, especially the old world clothing and atmosphere. The Mini-games and hidden object scenes were good :)
I was saddened when I finished it and hope these Devs come out with another Eventide soon :)

Trying to decide what to say about this game. I mostly liked it and mostly enjoyed it but I personally found some of the mini-game instructions sadly lacking and left me feeling sort of stupid when I could not figure them out.. Perhaps it's just me but several times I ether skipped or referred to the SG which I don't like to do.
All in all I did like it with the developers usually good graphic ,sounds ect. and I have almost all of the Hidden Expedition games.
I basically agree with the positive reviews of my fellow Fishies but not with the positive reviews of the mini-games :/

:) I like indie games from devs I'm not familiar with, especially when it is from a different culture :) It is a good way to use my PCC's :)
After completing this surprisingly good little game I did a search on the developer and can see why there were words used differently;) I hope they make another one and the word difference did not matter to me.
The story-line, mini games ( I skipped a few), hidden object scenes, game play and music were all acceptable. Some of the voice-overs sounded like they were text to voice and I found it entirely acceptable as I hazard to guess that it is not always easy or affordable to hire an interpreter :/

I enjoyed this game, the graphics, story-line and hidden object scenes were just fine and the music was really soothing :)
The only thing that sort of ruined ( for me that is ) was the constant "Loading" between scenes. I understand that not all developers have the newest software and try to take that into account .
All in all, if you can get past the constant "Loading" part You may really enjoy this game, I did !

Completed it but found it to be somewhat boring. BUT my little 'helper' was sooo cute that I kept on playing just to watch him :heart: :)
As the game progressed it either got better or I just got used to it.
The colors and graphics/music/VO's were very good.
I'm giving this one a (f) (f) (f) out of possible 5 (f) on my personal enjoy-ability scale and that is mostly for my little helper ;)

This is one of the best games I have played this year and there is nothing to complain about, just praise the care and imagination the Dev's used in producing Subliminal Realms: Call of Atis CE. I even got to go back and find the collectibles I missed :) after completing the bonus chapter :)
I truly hope to see more like this ( and I even skipped several of the mini-games after getting frustrated at the time I was taking fruitlessly trying to complete them :(
