lovely game as always. Just - how do you turn off the throw down of cards? I find it very distracting. Every time the map is displayed, every hand of cards, yeah, it was a cool idea. I watched it once, that is enough.
I love Art by Numbers. I was excited when this new implementation surfaced. Alas, I do not know why, but I find it difficult and exhausting to finish a level.
The colors and artistry clearly show how carefully the portraits were created. I am in awe. It just doesn't overcome my desire to get this over with. I won't be purchasing any more versions.
I will never buy another art game, this is the best

The colors are bright and cheerful, not just shades of black, grey, brown and dark green to liven up the scene. Being able to choose textures is a bonus.
The scenes are pleasant, ranging from pleasant to soothing. I don't want or need strum und drang.
The tools are the best. If you are zoomed in for some small bits and you hit the ? to see if you are done here, you are sent to the next spot without expanding the view. It is very annoying to zoom out to full screen when you have to re-zoom back down.
The number of places to be filled for each color and for the entire scene are displayed. This way you know how many more to go before next color or scene complete.
It automatically switches to the next color on the chart. You don't have to do that color, but it is convenient if that is how you play. Also, it automatically shifts the color palette up when you complete all colors in that set.
If you don't want to do scenes or colors in order, you don't have to.
I also like other games by this developer. Way to go guys!
