I liked the game but think that the developers could have honed it into something much better. It had everything going for it but it was so short that I would have been upset had I not gotten in at a great sale price.

Hidden Mysteries®: Salem Secrets
Help Constable Hawthorne investigate the rumors of witchcraft in Hidden Mysteries – Salem Secrets, a fun Hidden Object game!
I dug into my archives to find a game I had not played in awhile. I realize that what may have passed for acceptable way back when, is no longer tolerable. I do not remember disliking this game initially. The HOS were so muddy and poorly drawn that I had a headache. There is no hint system in the body of the game just in the HOS. I do remember that I needed to stop and go to the walkthrough for advice way too often! On that basis I refiled the game in my archives.
I am so grateful that BF has a rating system now. At least I can jog my own memory and see how I felt about a game before I try it again. . .

Namariel Legends: Iron Lord
Escape prison, defeat an army of mechanical soldiers and destroy the Iron Lord’s dark power!
There are way too many frogs in this game. It is tedious since they are so dark that it is virtually impossible to play without hints. I played it way back in 2011 and thought I would replay but I think I am giving up instead. I do not wish to subject myself to more of this.
I don't recommend this game.

Grim Facade: A Wealth of Betrayal Collector's Edition
The city fears the return of the infamous Fire Knight – but is Rosa Ramirez really responsible?
This series has seen it's finest days and they are now behind them. I will chalk this up to another CE I would have been better off waiting to come out as an SE since the Bonus chapter was short and rather lame. It was O.K. That is the best I'll say for it.

Off the Record: The Italian Affair Collector's Edition
Track down the wily Fox’ before he slips away into the beauty of Venice!
This game did everything well. I even appreciate the souvenir room. Going back to each scene gave me a chance to appreciate the artwork. It was quick without being dull. I am not always a fan of gamers forcing you to replay hogs or redo puzzles for achievements. This was left entirely to my discretion.
The behind the scenes was a glimpse of what it would be to work in that environment. All good! The game was well planned and moved smoothly. even the bonus chapter was five star.
Great Job!
I recommend this game!

Strange Cases: The Faces of Vengeance
Agent Claire Ellery must rescue her young ward, but this masked kidnapper has set deadly traps in the abandoned mall!
I picked this game because it was actually listed in the top trending games by BF. I suspect since it was at the bottom of the list someone did the same thing I did. I hate to see those coupons expire. I wish you could save them up for CE games. There are just so very few I have not played as a CE or that I tolerate past the free hour. This was tolerable. That is all I can say.

Fall of the New Age
Help Marla uncover the secret conspiracy of the Cult and release her brother from captivity!
This one was not for me. I actually started the game over again and played in casual mode. It is most likely me, but I found it irritating.
I don't recommend this game.

Cadenza: Music, Betrayal and Death Collector's Edition
You've returned from school to visit your father at his famous Jazz Pepper Club during Mardi Gras, but everyone is hypnotized. Have they heard the wrong note?
First, I loved the music! The storyline was great. I wasn't overly impressed by the hogs (find one, put one back) and the puzzles were not so great. The game moved along at a good clip. All together I really liked it. The bonus chapter however was very short. By the time I was finished with the game I was not interested to go back throughout all of the scenes to find the morphing objects not available during the standard gameplay. Instead of keeping me interested I lost my interest all together. I wish I had waited for the SE.
I recommend this game!

Riddles of Fate: Into Oblivion
The seven deadly sins have plunged peaceful Riddlestone into chaos! Rescue the royal family and save their people from destruction.
At times I grew frustrated that the game was not always linear. Eventually I found that the convoluted journey was what appealed to me most. It did not seem like the average fare. Considering I used a free game coupon; I could not be happier.
