I really, really wanted this to be a five star game, and it so easily could have been.
But it's rather full of bugs, which affect the overall enjoyment. Specifically, that the tasks must be followed in order - or you can't complete the game. This means the player has no initiative, as well as limiting its replayablity.
Towards the end of the game, my peeps just stopped dumping their stuff in the cellars - they had to be manually dropped their, making the game very tedious.
Were it not for those two significant development glitches, this game would have been wonderful. Sadly, it falls short.
I don't recommend this game.

MCF, to my mind, has frequently deserved game of the year so I always anticipate November for having my mind blown by Big Fish pushing the envelope with the latest offering.
And when you demo this - you think it's going to be fantastic. Certainly the graphics were top notch and the intro definitely motivates you to want more.
However, upon purchase you realise it is just repeat, repeat, repeat.
I personally liked the humour and the story line - the cut scenes were a great addition, just sadly too many of them.
I did get bored with the gameplay. Very bored. It was the same tasks over and over and over. The activities were very linear.
I'm pretty disappointed - MCF games used to be the most outstanding of the genre, but now only the graphics are.
Please Big Fish - don't nominate this one as your game of the year, you'll be making a mockery of yourselves.
I don't recommend this game.

Any IHOG with 'Mystery Trackers' in its title usually tempts me to buy without trying, and this one doesn't disappoint.
It's imaginative - includes very amusing morphing objects; as well has interactive hidden object scenes; a small dog which has incredible pester power #but does actually assist# and some novel puzzles. It's pretty busy. Hints are handy and informative. There's four levels from casual to outright ridiculous to choose from.
I'm not usually one for story lines, but this one is a little on the scary side and so has pulled me in. Graphics are good but could be better imo.
Anyway, I'm off to complete.
I recommend this game!

I've been yearning for a game similar to The Promised Land, and had discovered Farm Tribe not long after, which helped fill the void.
Farm Tribe 2 is much improved - there is enough going on to keep one busy, yet only one task is timed (one hour to complete!!) that you can glide through this game at your leisure.
The essence of the game is to manage your people, storage and whilst satisfying customer requirements and the game objectives.
There are numberous demanding customers dropping items such as business cards for you to hunt for, or wishing you to find items to fulfil their hobby. Again as these are untimed, you can do this whilst you are waiting for your workers to stock up your storage.
It definitely has some replay value as well since there are a number of ways you can play this game.
I recommend this game!

I loved the Farm Frenzy games, although it took me an age to fall for them. Whilst, I love a good time management/strategy game, this game, however, just isn't enough.
It struck me as too fiddly; I find FF challenges the brain cells with their simplicity: each level having its own unique solution and I get comfort in their familiarity. This game, on the other hand, seemed to require much more clicking on predators, too much ambiguity when trying to figure out a strategy, and a bit ploddy.
Needless to say I didn't buy.
I don't recommend this game.

the developers hadn't made it a click-fest, this would have been a fantastic game but there was just overkill with the yetis, rats, villains etc. It just ruined it.
It has all the components of a fantastic building game (much better than Build-a-Lot) and I would happily re-buy this game if they shortened the time allowed and completely got rid of the annoyances mentioned above.
I don't recommend this game.

Enough variety and grab to keep you moving on. On first inspection it looks like a long game - and it is. So very good value for money.
Becomes more challenging in later levels. Experienced time mgt fans will find it slow to begin with and somewhat predictable, so that it's more of a 'dash' than a strategy game. However later levels reverse this trend.
Personally, I've very much enjoyed this game.
I recommend this game!
