Don't get me wrong, I love a dark, scary story as much as the next person. But not when it's time to go on vacation! I love these games and always buy them without a trial (and never regret it). I hope this series continues a long time (along with the Cruise Director and Christmas games)!

I have all the Clutter games and typically bought them without a trial since I have enjoyed them so much. For whatever reason, the last one just wasn't as enjoyable for me so I decided to give this one the trial before purchasing. I very much enjoyed it and only skipped a couple of puzzle varieties (even though I am probably one of those people who love the classic stockpile puzzles the best and would be thrilled if there was a version released that only included those). I also like that the touch screen works on my PC (it hasn't in the past on some, not sure if that is my PC issue or not) since it gives my wrist a break from rapid moving/clicking. A definite buy for me!

I wasn't sure I wanted to even try it based on the horrible cartoon people, but I'm glad I did. Fortunately the parts where the characters show up can be skipped through quickly. The objects aren't too easy (especially for people used to HO games), but not too hard either since the scenes are not too dark. I like the variations on the HO scenes and always like some Match 3 thrown in. Overall I would recommend as a nice, relaxed HO game.

I referred to this game in a recent review of a newer installation of the Clutter series, so I thought I would post a review of this one on the actual game page. I have all of the other Clutter games. This one may be my favorite. There are lots of variations with some additional games thrown in. The additional games aren't my favorite thing, but you can easily skip them. I like the options that you can use to customize what you are getting. My favorite thing about these games is that you can replay them multiple times and never get tired of them. I like the challenge as the timer ticks down, and I will doggedly replay until I beat the clock. It sounds stressful, but it is actually addictive which is why I keep going back to play it again. I think you will like it!

I got into the Clutter games because I love the classic clutter with the objects. I like all the variations on that - match 3, take 2 leave 1, etc. As time went on more and more new stuff crept into the game, but there was always enough of the classic clutter to keep me happy. This installment really disappointed me and I am glad that I used an almost ready to expire free game coupon and didn't waste money on it. My mistake was thinking that I would love it like the others so I didn't do the trial before purchasing. Way too much 'abstract' clutter, too many smiley faces, too many hearts, too much mahjong, too many sliders. The other option where you can play just classic clutter was boring in that the ones I made it through were all the same and seemed to be "hey, let's see how long we can make each puzzle instead of giving the different levels of challenge that we have done in the past". Honestly, I forwarded out of 75% of the games I made it to then got disgusted and quit. I will go back to the older Clutter games that I loved to get my Clutter fix.
If you are new to discovering this series and wondering if the Clutter games are for you, I would highly recommend going back to an earlier game to try them out (I always like #5 Clutterville and have replayed it multiple times). Please Joe, if you must create games like Clutter Evolution, throw the ones of us that prefer the Classic Clutter a bone and bring out a new game with just those variations.

I love all of the Casual Arts games because they are light and fun (still hoping for Halloween to come back...!) and this didn't disappoint. I thought there was some new variety to the mini-games, some new music (especially liked the music for Ireland) and some of the games and HO scenes were a bit more challenging (but not so challenging to be frustrating). I had no trouble getting it to run. Looking forward to the next installation already!

The demo was painful... I kept waiting for something to happen that got me interested in the story and the game, but no luck. I see other reviewers say it gets better and more interesting, but there is no way I would risk buying it based on the horrible demo. Maybe if I had a free game coupon that was expiring and had nothing better to buy...maybe...but it would be a stretch.

Yes, there are similarities to prior games, but I don't care - I buy these every year and will keep on buying them as long as the developers make these games - including Park Ranger and Cruise Ship games. I think the CE in this game included scenes that aren't in the SE (cruise ship scenes) so I had no problem buying it with my credits. Christmas is supposed to be fun and relaxing, and these games get me in the spirit!

I love all these Casual Arts games and buy them without demos. I like the relaxed pace with option of more challenging modes and the nice level of challenge (especially if played on the timer). This game seems longer, which is always nice. My one beef is the CE - this was not CE worthy. I had another CE in my queue to buy so was able to take advantage of the 2 for 1 sale, but if there had been no sale I would have been forced to wait not so patiently for the SE. That is the only reason for removal of one star.
My next comment to Casual Arts is - bring more holidays! Easter, July 4th, bring Halloween back, just so we don't have to wait so long for fun between our park visit, our cruise, and our Christmas holidays. :-)

I look forward to these games every year, and buy without a trial because I know that I will love them (along with all the other games by this developed). These are good for young and old. The developers have given us a lot of new scenes (and some new clothes for the family!) and made it just challenging enough for those of us who have played all their games.
Now if they would just bring a new Halloween game next year. :-)
