Normally i love these Myth of... games, but this one just didn't get me. You have a really beautiful scenery, you have fairies and a leprechaun, you have everything it needs - and still it lacks something, the heart. To me this is the first time that i had the feeling the developers of the story didn't know themselves, how to use all the characters they have and thus they all stayed vague. No one will be remembered. And there was no irish music at all - except in the begin, when it tells you that you better play with sound The credits say that the developers got inspired by the irish folk stories, but man... these folk stories are way much elaborated than this story. I guess they just didn't get the spirit of what a fairy really is and how deep it can be rooted in a society. As a matter of fact, i thought they made misuse of the deep traditional cultural inheritage of the irish, they were just using the fairies as papier maché-model - it had no depth and no character and no heart. Sorry to say this, but this was made too cheap - concerning storytelling and characterdeveloping.
I don't recommend this game.

Dreampath: The Two Kingdoms Collector's Edition
Your sister, the Queen, has fallen deathly ill. Now you must travel to a faraway kingdom to find the cure.
If i was only allowed to recommend one game of the last days - it would be this one. It has EVERYTHING you can only wish from a game: an interesting story about dragons and the evil and who is to keep it locked away... nice collectibles... a wonderful help in form of a cat (real great and cute detail!!!), beautiful graphics and what is best: the game has a logical flow so you don't have to use the hintbutton often... for me this is a very pleasant game which soothes your mind after a busy workday. I love when developers put much effort in their games. These did! As written above: buy this! It is cute:-)
The village of Lumina is in trouble! Defeat your challengers with the help of powerful spells, and find treasures in more than 10 hidden object scenes.
weren't these "interruptions" in gameplay through "challenges". Either you have to clear the board with limited actions allowed or - even worse - you have to match all in about one or two twists in order to clear the board. Music there is very dramatic and dark, and - okay you can skip them, but if you do, you'll never be able to really finish the game as they keep awaiting you at the end again. I am not into mathematics and I will never be able to understand logical actions, so i do never get a chance to really finish the game. Without this so annoying "addition" it would be a great game with replay value. Just too bad they thought they had to do something extra smart:-(((
Everyone knows the legend of the Snowqueen by Christian Andersen. This story is different... the kingdom faced hard times and in order to overcome them, King Henry agreed a bad deal with a magician. Now this magician wants his part of the contract fullfilled and thus the golden apple. But only the princess can touch i without getting transformed to stone. So she is in great danger. This is the storyline - but what i really love are the wonderful graphics, the nice music, the flow of actions, the perfect design... there are so many little things where you just stare and are delighted with (for all the locks and valves are designed great!!!) I do love this kind of stories, especially when the game has a good flow and you almost feel being part of the fairytale. The developers really did a beautiful job here to make us players joyful! Thanks!!!
You've returned from school to visit your father at his famous Jazz Pepper Club during Mardi Gras, but everyone is hypnotized. Have they heard the wrong note?
What a wonderful game!!! The scenery and the music are a delight for every jazzlover and the gameplay is quite unique, bringing ordinary HO-scenes to a new twist, which make them more interesting.. you are the daughter of a jazzmusician and want to visit him in his pub But strangely enough all the people there are frozen. It is the time of Mardi Grass, so undead souls roam around. As said, this game is a costliness, a treasure to keep, the developers did so much their best to create the atmosphere of New Orleans, it is amazing. What i love most is that the scenery is not static... you see traffic on a bridge, cars are passing by, it almost feels as if one was there. I cannot even imagine how many workhours were neccessary to create such an outstanding game! Chapeau!!!!!
Yes, it might not be the most challenging game, but i do love these kind of games. The graphics are gorgeous, the story is interesting and keeps you going, the inventory, where you can create new items is nice... I would recommend this game strongly to everybody, who wants to have some pleasant moments in another country. They are doing really well, these developers, i just love this serie's!!!
I do like the series, that is why i am going to buy also this one, but since the "Premature Burial" - the whole concept became with each game weaker and weaker... all this superficial bling-blings (collectable coins, camera etc.) just conceals the fact that the gamedevelopers don't do a good job with this serie's anymore... i also noticed the voice-change, which is an absolutely no-go with a game serie, i find. As said, i am quite disappointed and if this game wasn't from ERS i wouldn't buy it. I like that one knows what one gets with graphics and appearance of a game, but this bling-bling kills the story and the pleasure... the more bling-bling the less sincerity, unfortunately.
I don't recommend this game.

Dark Dimensions: Somber Song Collector's Edition
Townspeople flee as the black smoke covers their town. Can you close the dark dimension, before it’s too late?
After having played a lot of games with - how do i put this gentle - "strange" storylines, where one could reckon easily that the developers didn't pay as much attention to the story than to the gameplay - i almost adore this game. FINALLY one real good story. What a relief!!! Of course it also has great gameplay, but what i loved most and really made me utmost thankful was the interesting story, which unfolded perfectly in time and place. Thanks so much, dear developers, it is a pleasure to play a game, which is so sincerely built. I would say that ERS and Eipix found a new coplayer with this company!!!
I believe this is the best game i ever played and i believe as a game designer it's a once in a lifetime experience to produce something so perfectly done, so smooth playing, so beautiful and so hartwarming. I bow to the people, who worked on this game. It is more than gorgeous, it is shere love:-)
