This game is a little easy, but it has so many other attributes, I was happy to buy it.The graphics are excellent, the voices perfect, and the story entertaining. I'm never in a hurry to finish a game, so even when they are on the easy side, I can find lots of enjoyment in them. Relax. Enjoy.

Overall, I would prefer more difficulty in all respects. However, this is still an enjoyable game, with good graphics, and a good story line. I don't like HOS when given a picture rather than a word, but at least there are both. The music is pleasant, and doesn't irritate. If you don't want to be too challenged, you will appreciate this game. It's a pleasant way to spent a very snowy Sunday in Canada.

This new offer from Grim Tales has all the elements for excellent gaming. It's challenging enough to keep you on your toes, and there is plenty to do. It's a relief not to have to listen to background music droning on and on throughout the game. The music / sound effects that do come into play are very good. HOS are nicely done, and the puzzles offer sufficient challenge.
When your daughter, Emily, is taken over by a mysterious force, you must travel to the Nightmare Realm to search for a cure. But nothing could have prepared you for what you find there…
Lots of eerie fun. Really creepy characters and lots to keep you amused. Good soundtrack, with sufficient challenge. Puzzles could be a bit more challenging, though. All in all, a great way to end the year.

I went ahead and bought this game without a trial, based on the first reviewer's recommendation, and I'm not disappointed at all. It has a lot of good elements that keep your attention and has sufficient challenge. So far, and I've played about an hour now, the only complaint I have is the background music (?) / sound effect. I find it quite irritating. The actors' voice-overs are, however, very good.
I initially had some mixed feelings about this game, but after playing most of the demo, I found it quite captivating. There are both easy and a little more challenging puzzles, which is a welcome change from just too easy. Likewise for the way the story moves along. There is sufficient challenge so you don't get bored. The graphics are very good, and the soundtrack is quite lovely. The characters are a bit hoky; but I'm just looking past them and enjoying the rest.
I recommend this game!

At last a new story line, with good graphics. The puzzles aren't difficult (at least so far, and I've played 1/2 hour of the demo. I'm going to go ahead a buy it, as it has caught my attention and I'm finding it quite enjoyable. I think there could be a little more challenge, but nonetheless, a very enjoyable game.

The Torment of Whitewall Collector's Edition
Only one girl has survived the mysterious attacks on Whitewall, but she’s not talking… So they’ve called you in to end the town’s terrible torment!
This game is just ok, but with nothing else to play, I'll probably buy it when it goes on sale. Doesn't merit CE status. HOS are not clear enough. Dialogue is too lengthy. But at least you can click to continue. Cut scenes are slow and take up a lot of time.

I liked this one better than the first, and am surprised it wasn't a CE. It was deserving of CE. I find that some CE's shouldn't be in that category because they are too easy. Ah, for the good old days when we didn't get hints that pointed us in the right direction. Remember when you had to go to the strategy guide? No more. This game takes you to many sites, and holds your interest, at least. Excellent fun, with evil and "weird" happenings.

There's nothing new here, and this one's far too easy as well. It's done on the cheap, with no creativity. Finished the demo in 1/2 hour. Slow-moving cursers are irritating. Too many HOS. Insufficient puzzles.
