This wasn't a bad game. It's the usual match 3 with a few extras thrown in. You get 3 difficulty levels to choose from, so that's a plus. The bonus items for the match 3 were decent. I did play to the end. Not sure I'd play again.
The extra games were few and far between in addition to being rather simplistic. The music was horrible - I felt like I was stuck in a 60's elevator. Some of the dialogue/quests didn't seem to follow the storyline, which was predictable. The game felt slow at the end, as you're just playing to upgrade buildings. It's difficult to figure out what needs upgrading unless you click each building. Seemed to be I always had plenty of everything except stone, which took forever to gather. Also, the control panel covered up some parts of the village, which was annoying. Lots of details which didn't seem to fit (why does the bread look like a croissant?)
Overall, good for wasting time, but not terribly exciting.

I played the demo and liked it enough to buy. It's an okay match 3 game, but there aren't as many extra puzzles as I thought there would be and the instructions for the puzzles are obscure.
Once you build everything, it's just a matter of playing the match 3 games until you have enough materials to upgrade. It gets pretty boring.
The characters can be annoying. Mars is a spoiled bully and the girlfriend/wife is a Debbie Downer.
If you want mostly solid match 3 play, buy this. If you want more puzzle variety, don't.

I loved the first 2 games in this series. This one is pretty much the same with a few added changes. There are 3 levels of skill and it's not too difficult. However, there are two reasons I am opting not to purchase:
1 - the loading time between scenes takes forever. Zzzzz snore 2 - really not sure of the purpose of the clicker game. I guess it's something extra to do, but it's pretty boring and useless.
I'll probably go back and replay the earlier games.

This was a really cute game and I might have bought it except for: No options for play modes. I want to relax. Too much dialogue. Yes, you can skip, but... Tito peeking into your screen every time you use a bonus - distracting Music was repetitive and not very good.
This is a cute game and it's kind of fun. However, it seems to be a mishmash of past games. I see remnants of Hercules, Alicia Quartermaine, and even Victoria's Quest. The music is not original & some bits are from other games, the gameplay is the same as others, the story is hardly original. I also can't see why it's a Collector's Edition, except for some other levels. Might use a free game when it's a standard. Not worth the price of a Collector's Edition. Yes, the graphics are good, but so were all those other games. Might as well just go back to those.

I would have bought this game (okay, used a free game credit) if there had been different skill levels. I can play with a timer or limited moves, but I don't always want to. I game to escape stress. There are some fun elements, but not enough to add it to my library.

I really couldn't play this game past the first few levels for these reasons: 1 - Why is this a CE? Besides collectibles that mean nothing and some bonus levels, I can't see the point 2 - Get rid of all the whining, moaning, complaining. I don't need to hear that every 3 seconds. Yes, I know you're in pain, but I need to finish a few tasks to even get to you and complaining won't make me go faster. (Now I feel like I'm talking to my kids) 3 - Way too much strategy for a casual game. I play to relax. If I want to stress, I can talk to my kids (see #2) 4 - Being a bit of a grammar nerd, poor translations set my teeth on edge. Just had to have a filling replaced.
Okay - these are my favorite detectives working together. Although we are missing Elf, we still have Richard's skull to help us out. I found the storyline interesting, the puzzles and HOs were challenging, and I like switching between the characters. Yes, the tasks are similar to other games and some of the details are a bit unreal, but this is FICTION, folks. Suspend disbelief for a while and enjoy.

I would have thought by now that developers would offer 2-3 skill options, but this game has none. I also didn't like having to initiate payment and go back & collect everything. It's almost impossible to get 3 stars unless you really plan your strategy. I like to play a relaxed version first to get the feel of the game, but I felt stressed right from the beginning. Too bad - the game is cute, but nothing new or exciting enough for me to overlook the obvious missing components.

I'm confused by many things: Why is this a Collector's Edition? So far, there are no collectibles or special features I can see except for some bonus levels What exactly do the runes do? The explanation was very sketchy. How do you use potions? I see where to make them, but no good directions on what to do then. Why two characters? The only difference seems to be that one can collect gold and one can use mana. I've enjoyed some of these games, but this one just left me frustrated. At least there were no ghosts to fight off.
