Games are about suspending disbelief but the way some of the hidden objects need to be used to progress don't make sense. I won't give examples bse those would be spoilers. I've been playing this type for years and rarely use clues but had to several times out of annoyance. This doesn't mean a game is clever and properly challenging as much as it means it wasn't well-designed. Visuals are beautiful with a good storyline but the game play issues caused me to quit the demo early. Fun factor is key and for me it wasn't
This review is for Halloween Stories Inspiration's Spark. I submitted it incorrectly to a different game.
I really enjoyed this Edgar Allan Poe based game. It did seem short compared to others and this is with the CE bonus game play. I appreciated that the vibe was spooky but not disturbingly creepy. There were at least two spelling errors in the text so consider them more hidden objects to spot instead of being annoyed by it like I am. This isn't the first game with errors. I'm available if BF needs an editor!

Buyer beware: Same great game play, but half as long for same price

The Cursed House series is a favorite. Every element is always well done. But this time instead of needing to clear anywhere from 20-25 coins to pass the level, each level has only 10 coins. Disappointing. This won't stop longtime fans from buying Cursed House 11 because we love it, and that's likely what the developers were counting on. Sure, it's just a game but slashing the gameplay by half is taking advantage of customers who have been loyal to the series for 4+ years.
The legacy of the Weather Lord continues as King Victor and Queen Victoria prepare to pass the royal torch to their daughter, Jenny. But before Jenny can rule, she must learn the ropes!
I was excited to see a new Weather Lord game since the past several have been phenomenal. This addition is underwhelming. It seems less dynamic overall. Graphics have a less refined style and the game even seems to move slowly. I'm underwhelmed but its still better than most other TMs out there.
