Austin the Butler is just a hoot. You go from room to room to find hidden objects, you get money for that and buy things to restore the garden. You have 3 choices of each object to buy. Have played this game over and over again.

Terrible game. The hidden objects are just to difficult to find, if you click to much, the area goes gray to punish you. Can't move on to other areas unless you finish the one you are working on first. Even if it becomes a DD, that would be to much to pay this game.

This review is not on playing the full game. The hint system I felt was just horrible. A mirror would crack in the area where you needed to find an object. I became stuck and no matter how many times I waited for the hint to refresh, I never could find the item.

I found the cursor to be clumsy, the graphics cartoonish, the hidden object scenes to be to monographic in color. Not a good flow of the game. It was ok in my opinion, not a game I would want to play over and over again.

This is a long game. Lots of HOG scenes and lots to do. The main thing I didn't like about the game was having to use the flashlight so much to see. That became very tiring after awhile. Also some/many of the HOG scenes were to dark to see the objects without a hint. Other than that, very good game.

I really enjoyed this game. It was the first of a series. Actually, it came out 1st, but should have been 2nd to keep the story straight. It's a good buy at full price, even better as a DD.

I thought this game was just OK. The hints fill very quickly, and the skip of the puzzles fill quickly as well. These are the good points. I was disappointed in this game after Asylum Conspiracy, which I thought was just excellent. I didn't think the story flowed very well.
I recommend this game!

I buy all the Big City Adventure Games. Although San Francisco is my favorite, all of them are good. I like that it tells you a little bit about the area.
