I enjoyed playing the game and agree that it was too short. I am not going to go into great detail about the game and its mechanics, as that has already been done quite well with other reviews. I will say that this growing trend that Elephant Games seems to have regarding doing sudden, drastic changes when it comes to character/storyline is giving me whiplash. Hated it with the Paranormal Series (THE most annoying band of "psychics" you will ever meet) and Mystery Trackers (teenagers running amok). However I will see how this plays out, especially as the Grim Tales series is one of my favorite from this developer.
Love this series, so I was very excited to see another chapter arrive. That feeling of joy soon changed to sheer frustration. Gameplay is pretty much standard as per the prior games, but some levels were just too frustrating - especially Level 13. I had to actually take it off timed to relaxed just to finish. I always purchase this series fully expecting to replay; however this one will be a hard pass. I'm probably going to finish it and then uninstall.
Not a fan of this series. I like the concept of a choice changing the probable outcome of a game, but not where it affects the game to the point you have to start over. Passing on this one.
Love the game. I think it's an overall improvement. I especially like that the hidden objects are easier to find and I'm not spending 20 minutes with my mouse trying to find them.
I love Elephant Games, but this is my least favorite series from the developer. I don't mind "dark" games (does provide a warning about that in the beginning, but I felt it was not needed - unless it covers sheer aggravation), but I did not find this game disturbing - only frustrating. Uninstalled and didn't even finish it.
I love this series and look forward to the newest Christmas Stories every year, but this game fell short. The game felt rushed and much shorter than previous games. I also didn't feel enough back story was given on our protagonist. I don't know, it might just be me, but not my favorite in the series. I also felt robbed of a bonus story featuring the felines. I mean they replaced it with a story involving ice skates or something silly like that. What was Elephant Games thinking?? Bring back our talking kitties please!
First, I want to say that I am a huge fan of Mariaglorum Games, but what the heck happened here? Usually these games are automatic buys for me and this was no different here. Now I realize I should have read the reviews. This a 100% HO game, which some may like, but this is not my cup of tea and not what I expect from this game developer. I get they were trying something new and different, but it fell flat for me. I got so tired of jumping from location to location just to play a hidden object scene, that I uninstalled without even finishing it and I have never done that. I also look forward to obtaining the characters throughout the game, but again nothing, except collecting owls. And spoiler - I do miss my little scarecrow - bring him back! I agree with other reviewers, you either love it or hate it, and I definitely hated it. I really hope we do not get another game like this ever again!

I'm not going to into depth about the game, as it has pretty much been covered by previous reviewers. Mariglorium games are always an automatic buy for me, and this game is no exception.
