Well ERS has done it again. They've put out the same game as always, with a new name. It has the same music, the same gameplay, and the same lack of fun. There are 3 levels of challenge which seems to be the norm these days.I wish there was a fourth. one with a fast recharge and no sparkles. I try to ignore them as much as possible, comforting myself with the knowledge that I was going to look there anyway. I always play in the casual mode simply for a faster recharge and this one takes way too long. The graphics are beautyful and the story is okay, but nothing new. I played for twenty-five minutes, and in that time the voice overs are well done. I don't think there is an original thought in any of the developers at ERS. I'm sorry, it's a definite no buy for me. I will however recommend the game for those of you who aren't as jaded and bored with the same ole, same ole as I am.
Hi Fishes, well right off the bat it is way too quiet, it just doesn't have the impact that it should have.. I mean for crying out loud, you've got the Knights of the Templer in full armor coming after you. The graphics are okay, much better than the first, but are still not quite up to snuff. The gameplay (after 40 minutes) is much the same as most of the games out lately, therefore, there is no challenge for me.Its much the same as a repeat of an old detective movie. You know whats coming next. The hint system is exactly the way I like it. A fast recharge, and helpful in general gameplay. The tutorial was good as well. You have the option of skipping it each time it tells you something, which I really appreciate. There is one thing they didn't explain though. There are doves in each room, but when you click on them they disappear. And then, nothing. You don't collect them like morphing objects so I can't come up with a rhyme or reason for them. If I missed the explation, then please someone fill me in.It's seriously bugging me. I also appreciate the fact that it's not dark and ugly.It has several colors. LOL Not just silvery blue or orange haze. There aren't very many HOS so far, which makes me very happy. I guess I'm bored with them anymore. It's unfortunate because to get to the parts I love (puzzles and adventure) I have to do them. I zone out. When I snap out of it I think "oh yeah I was looking for an eggplant." An eggplant? Seriously, who keeps an eggplant in the she?. There is only a little interaction in these scenes Personally I think the interaction is silly They're nothing but a waste of time and eye strain, but then diversity makes the world go 'round. I'm going to pass on this one. Happy gaming!!!
At first glance I thought it was going to be too dark, but the graphics are good, so I didn't have any trouble seeing things. As for the gameplay, same ole, same ole. How do I get out of this jail cell, can't reach the item in the drain. You get the gist. The mini games so far, same story. Codes and teeth locks. The music is okay, just not conducive to a dark theme. It's more appropriate for a doctors office. Then there are the voice overs. They are so bad!!! If I were to buy this game I would definitaly have to mute. Very bad accents and obvious script reading. All- in- all a very good game for beginners. (although it's a bit challenging, the hint system is very helpful, and doesn't take too long to recharge.) I've played and bought well over 200 games so I'm a bit jaded. I'm looking for new and unusual, something fresh and exciting, and this just isn't it. But as I said, good for new fish in the genre.
I can't tell you how disappointed I am. I love the gameplay, and the mini games The ones that I played are unique and fun. BUT, the HOS are terrible. I had to use the hint several times in each scene. The recharge is fairly quick,BUT,you have to look fast or you'll miss it. Obviously I won't buy this as a CE,( in my opinion it shouldn't have been released as one ) but I probably wii as a SEor DD when I have 15 minutes to spend on each of the HOS. The HOS are my least favorite part of the games, ( I'm into puzzles and adventure ) so for $13.99 having to hint my way through is not acceptable. As I said, very disappointed.
I'm furious. I can't belive ERS took a game that is in a class by itself and made it into another cookie cutter game they put out. I played the second Azada for the fourth time about a month ago, and at the end the "to be contued" set me off to find out when. When I saw that it would be soon I was over joyed But when it came out and I saw that ERS had taken it over I honestly felt like crying. ERS hasen't come out with a fresh game in a very long time. They just chang the names and the venue. I won't be buying anymore
Oh darn, oh drat, oh poo. I feel like I'm talking with a school marm of yore. This game is too challenging for children, so I wish they would've talked to us like adults. However, I love the rest of it. The gameplay is fun, the graphics are great, and so far I'm lovin' the story. Scary, spooky, and eerie are my thing (make me jump please) so when a rat comes full screen in my face, thats alright with me. This happens fairly often (not just rats) and I love it.The HOS are are well done. I used the hint butten 3 times in the first scene because they are so well hidden, not because of dark spaces or the items being too small. The sparkles are annoying. They don't stop after having been checked out. Not sure what they were thinking there I like to know when I've done everything that can be done at the time before I leave an area so I end up checking the sparkles again. And sometimes again. As I said, annoying. The sparkles and the language are the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Well off to play, happy gaming all!!!
