Yay! I'm so tired of seeing the same old stuff. Even though this is an old style, I love the fact that it's still DIFFERENT from all the rest of the HO games. Thank you! Keep doing different things, please!

This game isn't right. The puzzles are far too easy, not to mention extremely unrealistic. Why would someone lock their bag, for instance, then draw the lock combination in huge drawings right on the bag??
The one puzzle that offered a "hard" version was simply NOT hard at all! I only played the demo, but it was too much story and not enough puzzles/HOs. I know it's a fine line to find the right amount of everything, but the other games in the series were much better.
I've loved all these Dark Tales up until now and I love Edgar Allan Poe, but this one has lost me.

I thought this one wasn't as bad as the other new Puppet Show games because of the reviews, but it is. It's actually the worst Puppet Show I have ever played. Even the newest one was better, I think...
It's like nobody even checked this game for proper language, especially the bonus chapter. There were many mistakes in grammar and poor translation. The puzzles were not very fun, a couple were literally just steering! REALLLY?? Just STEERING?? No thank you!
I want my games to be unique and interesting, challenging! Not STEER around objects! Someone really cut corners on this game and it showed. :( It wasn't fun.
Don't waste your time on it... I hope the designers go back and play the original games to remember how to make a good game because this was depressing. I can't believe I purchased this.

I love the whole series and its uniqueness (controlling the weather), I'm in the middle of playing this one as I type this. What's really cool about it is the rewards you get along the way that actually affect the gameplay (like a wand that makes the weather recharge faster) though this game is definitely not an exclusive and shouldn't be labeled as such.

I only played the demo before buying and I'm glad I did. I saw the reviews saying it wasn't like the others and they were right. It's just.. weird. Something about it was just not like the previous Puppetshow games and I didn't like it. I think it was just too much negative. I LOVE these games and ERS, I surely hope they fix whatever went wrong with this one and I will gladly purchase the next one.

I guess if you like super easy games, this one is for you. Otherwise, avoid it. Bad accents in the voiceovers, too. One was so bad he sounded like Dracula while trying to sound Scottish... Ugh...
I don't recommend this game.

Many points in this game I was wondering why can't you defend yourself or attack? I mean, really?! Gee, I guess I should use this toy to distract a crazed killer instead of shooting him! (sounds stupid, right?)
What's even worse is the storyline, making it seem like you should feel SORRY for the killer?? What the?!
I totally regret this purchase and may not even come back to this series again because this story was just lame. There were far too many holes in the story and things left unexplained.
I don't recommend this game.

I love the Puppetshow series, I think I own them all, or at least played them all. I bought this without trying the demo and I regret it. The game was not only too short, but it was extremely boring. It just felt off, like the story wasn't complete. There was so much more that they could have put into the story that I feel like I didn't get my money's worth.
The Collector's Edition came with extras and a bonus chapter, but that, too, was short and made little sense. The screensavers and wallpapers were not nice, nothing I'd use. If there was at least one with the Puppetshow logo on it, I'd have definitely used it!
I hope they do better on the next one because I really do love the art style and the music.

I purchased this game, thinking it would be like the rest of the Clutter games, which I liked a lot. It was.. Until about halfway through the "Gold" quest. Then suddenly the developer was like, "I'm done talking." And told us he left the box quotes in "because I like them." (I do like them, too, that's not my point.) Those two things combined, gave me the impression that I was being talked down to and that the developer didn't like the players or care what we thought.
I don't appreciate that and I won't likely be buying any more from this series, especially if there is no storyline. I LIKED reading what he had to say, it was interesting and funny...Until this last bit.
People who didn't like it could easily turn it off. Removing the story was just a cop-out on the "writer's" part, blaming the few people who didn't like it to bail him out. :(
Maybe it was just his way of making the fans mad so he would not have requests for a Clutter 6. I'm certainly not requesting it, now, so he gets his wish...

I normally like this developer's games, but this one was just too easy, linear, forced and the storyline was messed up. It was illogical to say the least. The only good thing about this game was some of the music was so lovely it made me almost fall asleep (during the hidden object scenes). The music in the beginning is soooooo weird and has terrible singing, though!
I hope they get back on track and don't do another one like this...
