Absolutely loved this game! I love old fashioned point and click games and this one was so fun. Very gory and a little tough to get through the 1st chapter but once I learned the way the game played, I breezed through the rest. Multiple endings apparently depending on some of your original clicking choices!! Haha. I did find a walkthrough on line when I got very stuck but only needed it for one thing in the whole game. For those not used to these old games, give it a try. Not like the usual Adventure/HOG games. This requires patience and thought and plenty of time. Only problem I had was trying to save the game when I wanted to turn off. I couldn't figure out how to save it where I was actually at. It would return to where the last auto-save was. so I ended up just leaving the game on and just hiding it out of site when not playing. Probably is some way but I couldn't get it to work. My all time point and click game is the Syberia series on Bigfish. I play it once a year, it never bores me, such beautiful graphics and story line. Need BF to find some more like it. Enjoy
I have always loved these type of games. The best being the Syberia games there were 3 installments. It's a shame it doesn't get better reviews. I really want Bigfish to put more of these on this site. I really miss them. So much more challenging than the same old same O we have had for the last few years. PLEASE PLEASE put more of these back on your site.

Not a challenging game in any sense of the word, completed in a leisurely 3 hours max with no help or mini games skipped etc in difficult mode!!, I would normally prefer a far more challenging game and expected to be a little disappointed, BUT I was suprised at how fun it was and how absorbed I became in the game. Easy to follow, plenty of mini games, morphing objects etc (again very simple) but I didnt mind this time (I was obviously in the right mood for something simple). Highly recommend if you are just looking for light entertainment. Hard core MCF type fans (which includes me) will probably be disappointed if looking for brain action.

I read the reviews for weeks before deciding to try this. Did the trial and thought " ummm, ok I'll give it a go". If I hadn't played MCF games before, then I would have said it was Ok, but being a fan of earlier MCF, yes it was disappointing. Annoying that morphs can only be got after unlocking bonus, and to be quite honest, if that was the Bonus, it was poor. I was expecting more bonus at the end! Didn't mind the actors, although I prefer animation or drawn characters, but it was fine. But tedious having to keep going back to Cassandra over and over again. Liked being able to use the map to get around but would have preferred the option of making my own way between scenes. Missed having interesting/challenging mini games which I would have expected from MCF as that is usually what sets MCF apart. Ending was an anticlimax, the game just seemed to run out of steam halfway through and was very repetitive. I prefer more of a challenge, and this game constantly told you where and what to do next. I did like having to find items throughout the room rather than a clutter of things in a corner. Didn't like that I wasn't told how many morphing items I had managed to find at the end. And what was the point of the hidden tapes? MCF - please go back to your original games with great Hidden object scenes, unusual and challenging mini games and most of all FUN!!! Trying to be too clever, but failing :(

Enjoyed the game for the most part, lovely graphics, music was fine, I liked the storyline but it got a little tedious having to find different shaped medallions to open anything, could have been a little more creative. The mini games were ok but I skipped a few because they were a little boring. I Like challenging mini games but these weren't that fun. Did like the map to jump to places, but would have preferred not to be told what to do at each location. Game length was good, hogs were good and the bonus game was fine, but overall it just wasn't that great.

A Gnomes Home was disappointing for me. I enjoy timed or relaxed versions of these games but this one was a little too tight, also the pop up boxes were really annoying any time you accidently hovered over something that needed to be done, I couldn't see things as the boxes were to big. The graphics weren't that great and I prefer the versions where you can queue things to be done (ie click on several items and the wee people do them in order) it was annoying having to wait till each task was done. I only downloaded the trial fortunately as I won't be buying this one.

Really enjoyable game, great Sci-fi storyline which was interesting and had me totally immersed. Interactive map was great, saved time going back and forth. Puzzles good and not samey but not terribly challenging, though still very enjoyable. Music, graphics etc all very good. Enjoyed reading the 'scientific exerts' which went well with the story. Certainly one of the better games I played this year, would highly reccommend for fun factor and great story line with good twist. Also worth the extra for CE.
I recommend this game!

Really enjoyed this Pirate game and for a change, worth the extra for CE! Beautiful graphics, soundtrack good, in fact everything was top quality. Storyline was compelling and games were challenging enough for me. And also important was that it was a decent length. Characters were engaging and interesting and fun. Highly recommend. I think it is only the 2nd game I have ever given full marks for.

Really didn't like this game. Could not understand how to do even the simplest of tasks and no real way of getting help. Have had it over a year now and still don't get it and even my kids found it tedious although they picked it up quicker, they said it wasn't fun.Would not recommend!
I just loved this game. I don't normally play time management games as they tend to be samey. But this was so much fun! Lovely graphics music wasn't annoying. Lots of interesting things to do and collect. I loved the characters that popped in wanting to trade etc, and the pirate games were so fun. I have played it a couple of times over now, which is something I rarely do! I wish there were more of this standard as this was challenging and interesting and fun.
