If you've played other games in this series, you know what to expect. You can choose between Casual and Advanced (Timed) modes. The cut scenes are not high cinema, but I wasn't expecting that from this series. I enjoyed playing the levels.

Another review mentioned some items were mislabeled and it's true: the poker was labeled a "fire hook" and the dartboard was labeled "darts." There's no storyline, just hidden object scenes. It's not a great game, but I purchased it when it was on sale for $2.99, so I feel I got my money's worth.
For this game, it looks like they actually hired someone who could design mosaics. This one is a vast improvement over Red Riding Hood. Not the best mosaic game I've ever played, but not bad.
The mosaics were poorly designed and there was too much repetition. There were 5 mosaics in a row that were virtually identical - "Wolf in Disguise 1","Wolf in Disguise 2","Wolf with big eyes," Wolf with big hands," and "Wolf with big teeth." I hope this was a first effort. I have played the Cinderella game in this series and it is so much better. Don't waste your money on this one.

There is a storyline in this game, but you have to read the notebook, information doesn't just pop up after each level. Some hidden objects ARE hard to find, that's what the "?" button is for. There are typos, "vine glass" was my favorite. Some items are misnamed: a cupcake is called a muffin, a ball of yarn is called a spool, and then in other levels, they'll be correctly named. I think it's a fun game with some editing issues.

I haven't finished this game yet, but I just want to say how much I love it. I really like that in the early dungeons, if you're low on health and items, you just walk out without confronting any of the monsters and go to town to heal up at the inn. There are no invisible monsters, and the visible monsters will only attack if you click on them. This changes as you move to other continents, but it's good to be able to build up your character without fear of getting stuck in an early dungeon. As other reviews have mentioned, this is a game with some funny dialog, which added to the fun factor. It's just so good to have a new, good RPG to play. I just wish Big Fish would have an RPG category so these games would be easier to find.
The first few green arrow levels were easy, but things got more challenging as the game progressed. There were a few red arrow levels that I had to skip, and one that I finished, but I have no idea why the answer was correct. I loved the storyline, it had a lot of heart. I read some of the negative reviews. In spite of the graphics and easy introductory levels, this is not a children's game.

The thing I hated about the original Life Quest was getting rapid-fire tasks to complete, and being in competition against an opponent. There was no time to explore the world, and maybe choose another path. LQ2 is a much more open-ended game. You can choose your task to work on, you can choose to compete against an opponent or not. The replay value of LQ2 is tremendous. I have replayed it 30 times easily. I love creating a new character and a personality for that character, so I can play the game with different goals in mind. I've read the negative reviews and most are disappointed that LQ2 is not just a remake of the original. I think LQ2 is far superior to the original.
The storyline is interesting, the puzzles are challenging, and the graphics look great. The major problem was the translation of dialog and instructions. The dialog was awkward and at times confusing, but did not prevent me from enjoying the story. I did have to skip one mini-game because I just could not understand the instructions, and I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do.

This game was so much fun, that I played through twice. When it ended the first time, I didn't want it to end, so I immediately started a new game file. My biggest regret is that there is not a sequel. Bring Zorm back for a rematch!
