This is a game with a different feel to it. As other have said, there is much chatting with townsfolk, but I found it enjoyable. I liked the many voiceovers and the mini games and HO scenes, and the story line involving an intelligence agent seeking her mentor in the town of Hochwald. I also liked the Extras including achievements, wallpaper, and the collection of interesting Steam Bugs throughout the game. I think the CE is worth getting, particularly on a sale weekend!

This review is based on the demo. This game, set in the 1950s has the player, as the detective, looking into the happenings at a Serpent Festival! It has a nice look, cartoon more than realism, and goes nicely from normal to scary to comical. The HOs are interesting and well drawn, but a bit easy, and the same could be said for the mini games and puzzles. The best part for me was the storyline and the voiceovers...both well above average!! Also interesting is the detective mode where you hunt for clues by following light trails rather than word clues.

This review is based on the demo. This game is okay, but it feels a bit draggy...long cut scenes, lag switching from area to area. Scenes are nicely styled but not overly interesting. I liked it somewhat, but not enough to buy it. I would suggest people try it, as others may like it more than I did!

With so many gruesome games out there, sometimes it is great to play one that is fun!. This is a beautifully drawn hidden object game, where you are trying to solve the mystery of a cursed frog prince. A great take on a classic fairy tale, and a fitting sequel to the Curse of Briar Rose.

This is a great hidden object game, where the hidden object scenes involve finding all the pieces of one needed item. I love the graphics on this one, as the scenes are beautifully detailed. The story is good, but for me the fun was wending my way through the castle and grounds. Nice take on Sleeping Beauty!
A long-forgotten artifact has just resurfaced, and the race to claim it will cause a devastating war. The only thing strong enough to stop it is one woman’s promise to the man she loves.

This review is based on playing the hour long demo. I love this game! Cobras, ghost armada, Vasco de Gama, an evil brotherhood, and a missing gem...not to mention a missing man and his worried girlfriend. This game has a detailed storyline and lots of documents to read, as well as a device for finding hidden clues. The hidden object scenes are well done, and the mini puzzles are fun, but it is the regular play of the game that is challenging and really held my interest. If you want an easy game with no snakes, don't buy this one!!

This was a fun game to play, and had a nice creep factor to it! Storyline has some nice twists and turns as you try and figure out how to rid this town of its dark dimension. Nice graphics and voice overs. Pleasure to play this game.

This is a cheery game where you have to help the princess clear the evil curse from each of the rooms in her castle. I thought it would be a bit juvenile, but it was fun and satisfying, with lovey graphics, good story line, and a chipper helper fairy! It is not overly challenging, so would not suit those looking for a real challenge.

This is a great game for the times you just want HO scenes and puzzles. Beautiful graphics and interesting scenes raise it above most HO-heavy games, and the information on China given after each "mission" are interesting. I took a long time to play this one as I used each "mission" as a change of pace between darker adventure style games. I'm off to start the Egyptian one next!

This is a pleasant game, suitable for those who don't like dark themes or violence. It is easy to play, with a good ending, and there are mini games to play whenever you want after the end of the game, which are suitable for kids. Good choice for a free game, but maybe not worth full price.
