I gave this a try after all the raving reviews of others loving this so much. I found it not fun, stressful and found quite a bit of so tiny and way too hard to see the number. The colors are beautiful. They just look too much the same. The music got annoying after awhile. It was a surprise when I finished one of the paintings, to find that I was being timed on how long it took me. I found that stressful, not relaxing. I wish I could turn the timer off, but I could not find a way to do that. I will not be buying this one, and I don't recommend.
I have only played the trial version. I will buy this once the Standard Version if available. I never buy Collector Versions. I loved everything about this game. Thank you Eipix. This is what Mysetery Case Files should be regarding all of their games. This is why I bought Mystery Case Files games to begin with. Some of the Myserty Case Files games got lost along the way over the past years. If Eipix continues with all future Mystery Case Files games staying on thie format, then they are back on the right track, as far as I'm concerned.
I was enjoying the free trial for this game, until I got stuck in Chapter 2 of the game, and was not able to go any further. I got stuck on the HOP in the house where you had to line up the pictures to make the object that you needed to find. At 60 years of age, it was way too hard for my eyes to see in order for that to happen, and I no longer have the patience for that when it becomes that difficult. The hint button was do help, as all that did was tell me to slide the arrows on the two rulers. I knew that all ready. what I needed was to be able to have the choice to skip this whole HOP scene, and move on in the game. I just checked the walkthrough blog that is posted for this game. No help there as it does not show where al the HOPs are for this scene. Since this is the case. I will never spend the money or time on this game.
I don't recommend this game.

I love this game, and the rest of the series as well. I just NEVER buy the CE. I never feel they are worth the price, even when they are sale. I will wait for the SE to come out.
I recommend this game!

I liked everything about the game except for the following. On every scene where you learned about the story, everything moved very very slow, and there would be two arrow cursors. It was very annoying, since it did it on every scene. Hidden object puzzles played fine. I did make it to the end of the free demo, it just seemed to take forever. I will wait to buy the standard, and hope that version does not do any of this.
I recommend this game!

I lasted for 10 min of demo, then deleted game. I did not like this one any more than I liked the first game. Both are very boring. Both do not cover my computer screen. In both the objects to find are way too small even with my glasses on.
I don't recommend this game.

I have not finished playing the 1 hour demo yet. This is the 2nd game in this series. The 1st one was The Torment of Whitewall, both by Sulus Games. I will wait for the SE before I buy.
I recommend this game!

This is my first review. I just played the demo. I lasted 10-15 minutes. I couldn't stand anymore than that. The game did not fit my screen. There were black bars all around it. This made the objects to tiny to see and because of that they were way too hard to find. I love hidden object games. They are 98% of what I buy. The other 2% is 3-match games. I don't buy any of the others, and never collectible versions. I would not recommed this game.
