An enemy is at our gates! Build an ideal chain of traps. Use magic and the power of the elements: earth, ice, fire and shadow.

This is another tower defense game from 8 floor games. In this version you have traps to set in the floor of the paths. All traps and enemies have elemental affinities. It works like rock-paper-scissors with any element being effective against 2 elements and weak to 1. However, this makes playing the game exceptionally complicated. You always have to think, what was that thing again, red? purple? and what was ok for that? It is so much to try to keep in your memory that the game is just not fun.
And if you were wondering if you can replay levels to farm gems for upgrades, no you can't. It is the same X number of gems per star on each level. I miss the good ol' days when you could self adjust the difficulty by farming gems.
Anyway, absurdly complicated and not that fun.
I don't recommend this game.

I really liked how this game sounded and I wanted to like it...but I just can't. The time management part is just a little "town" where you can really only assign people to mine gold or upgrade food buildings. By the second or third wave I usually had everything upgraded and then the only use of the town was to annoyingly make you go back and forth to collect your resources.
The strategy side isn't that great either. Most of this game for me was throwing walls of low level pawns at enemies. During my whole hour trial I never got access to any real upgrade so there was no way to improve your battle strategy.
Bottom line: great idea but this game fails to live up to expectations.

8 Floor Games has made several games in the tower defense genre and, if you enjoy this type of game, I suggest you pick up one of their other titles. Past games gave you the ability to replay levels for additional items needed to upgrade your towers. In my opinion, that was the best feature of this developer's series as players of all skill levels could upgrade to the point that they needed to progress through the game. Now points needed to upgrade are tied to your success on the levels. When you start having difficulty with levels, you will be further penalized by being given fewer upgrades.
Bottom line, this game feels like it is meant for phones where you are solicited to purchase upgrades. As a PC game, it has limited options which equals limited fun. Check out the old Royal Defense titles for a nearly identical experience that is made for PC.
I don't recommend this game.

I enjoy these types of puzzles but was disappointed to find that, because they offer hints, not all the puzzles can be solved through complete logic. That ruins it long term for me. It is fairly enjoyable and if you don't feel cheated by needing to use the hints, you may enjoy the many levels of this puzzler.
I don't recommend this game.

I played the trial and liked it enough to buy it. After that hour though, the rest of the game was practically one type of puzzle in a few different places and then done. They knew just how far you could get in your hour trial and after that there is no more effort put into this game. Enjoy the trial but don't buy it.
I don't recommend this game.

This game is really a continuation of the last Royal Defence game. I highly recommend you start with that game as it will explain all the units/enemies abilities and weaknesses, where this game just starts off like you know those things already. That being said, this is a great tower game. If you liked the first one you will definitely like this one too.
I recommend this game!

I bought this game on a limited time offer after purchasing another game and boy am I disappointed. I have played 15 minutes and honestly will never be playing again even though I've already paid for it. The control recognition is horrible, sometimes making you click on an object 6-8 times before it correctly recognizes it. The story line is a joke. Playing this is more of a chore than a game.
I don't recommend this game.
