I loved the original when it first came out! Played it a lot! But as time went on, the updates to the programs on my computer started interfering with function of some of my older games. I eventually stopped playing the older version when an update caused the audio stopped working & the game started to turn off on its own part-way through the story. Though I could just click on the app again & continue playing where I left off, it just got too annoying when it happened multiple times! Getting to play it again was awesome! What I liked best is that the developers expanded on the story line by providing flashbacks to explain why the main villain did what they did, while not changing the original storyline much. This made the storyline more interesting & more fun to follow! The only thing I would have liked to see changed was the graphic designs of the characters! They improved the appearance of one of the helper creatures but didn't try to enhance any of the other creatures (example: the dragon) or human characters! I think the game would have been enhanced if the developers had improved the designs of all the characters you interact with as you play!
I was excited by the return of the Delicious series after a couple of years hiatus, & bought it as soon as Big Fish released! After playing through all the older games again, I spent hours playing through the story. While I did like it, I don't think it's as good as the original games! I didn't notice any clear glitches and/or game bugs, so I believe the game designers did try to make sure the game was play-ready. However, the visuals at times felt like they were moving too slow or too fast, making it hard to keep track of the diners' orders. This seemed intentional, though changing the game play from normal to beginners didn't really change the level's difficulty. A few were very difficult to complete! Overall, it still does not mirror the entertainment & quality of the previous Delicious games! However, Delicious: Cooking and Romance is a good game & I hope they continue the series!
I was excited when Boomzap started remastering the Awakening series! I loved the original, but they don't play as well on my current computer, so having a newer version of the same series is great! And the graphics and storyline did not disappoint! They stayed true to the original while making a few minor adjustments to improve the gameplay! However, Boomzap didn't fix all the bugs in this game before releasing it and it makes playing it a bit frustrating! For example, in the final hidden object challenge of the main game, I was asked to find a box of eleven nails! I found ten easily but the last was missing. I used the hint, and it revealed that the final nail was either in or under the box sealed with four gears, which I had already opened. I could not get back in it and it can't be moved so I could not finish the challenge. I had to restart the game for a second time, since the first time the sliding puzzle at the end of the game wouldn't open, and now must play through it again! I wish these game companies would actually take the time to play through them & eliminate the bugs and glitches instead of rushing to release them!

I love Time Management games so I was thrilled to see this added to the Big Fish selection of games. However, I found it a bit disappointing. There are clearly bugs that have not been worked out. The game starts to skip some the longer you play it and will occasionally freeze for a couple of seconds before starting again. This game needs a patch or something to fix the tech issues!

I am not as impressed with this edition to the "Cooking Trip" series as the previous games. I prefer the visual appearance of the 2 earlier games and the changes to the way the game play operates is disappointing. I do not like the way the robot assistant behaves, how you cannot improve John's prep speed which affects achieving the money goals of the levels, and I believe there are still a few bugs in the game, despite the update it had last week. Overall, the game is okay, but I think they released it too soon and changed it too much graphically to consider it a fantastic game!
Loved the return of getting to choose the fashion objects you create to sell in the boutiques in this game! That was something that I missed about this series in all of the last three games. Fashion Fever is still my favorite, but this was a close second!
Most of the levels of this game move too quickly to follow. I had to replay most of them several times to earn the three stars for each level and on a couple of the bonus levels, I only earned 1 diamond, no matter how many times I played. This game was clearly not meant to be played by anyone younger than a teenager and in fact, I think you need to either have a genius IQ or be a computer to succeed at it. I am really disappointed in this "Fabulous" game!
I have long loved the Delicious Series. It was one of the first computer game collections I stated playing, and I have all the ones offered by BigFish for purchase, including this one. The story lines in each one is fun and amusing and I have laughed till I was out of breath reading the dialogue in these games, and this was one was no exception until the very last level/chapter of the game. That chapter broke my heart, even though the storyline in the game hinted what the end would be. The end won't stop me from purchasing and enjoying any future games in this series, but I will likely never play this game through to the end again. I cry enough in real life, so I cannot play a game that will make me sob more.
