This game offers a oldie but gooie story line. As we all know the story from our childhood- this one has a twist. The game itself was put together nicely, but the loading in between each area became very tedious, almost quit a few times, but am no quitter! It took me a full 9 hours to play as I refuse to use the hint ,or skip buttons.That's just me folks.I was sure glad to see the ending, which pretty much leaves you with the feeling there will be another one.I did enjoy the sound ,graphics,etc.,but wasn't enough to make me want to play again anytime soon.
I don't recommend this game.
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.

I played maybe 20 min. of the game and x-ed out.I have repeatedly played the series and waited with anticipation for this installment...sigh, I am broken hearted! I cannot believe the creators let the Ravenhearst fans down like this, if they had have mixed it up and had afew morphing objects it would have been much better.Sorry bigfish just can't bring myself to recommend this one. But of course the morphing fans will be in there glory:[
I don't recommend this game.
Search for clues, solve puzzles, and unlock new areas as you visit spooky locations, master mini-games and locate Hidden Objects!

To be perfectly honest, I gave this game a pass when it first came out, but after reading a review of another game someone suggested it and I gave it a try.Am I ever glad I did.This game is so well done ,hardly any back tracking,the visual effects are amazing[the creators are truly out there,the sound fits the game like a glove Well done to the crew who dreamed this up and put it together,Thank you Bigfish ,,and to all you gamers who give games the pass for whatever reason--some games are worth a second look-see.The only draw back is re-play, the H.O. list never changes[bummer],they could have jumbled them up, as there were so many different objects to find.
I recommend this game!

I waited for the S.E.After playing the trial version. I couldn.t get enough ,Played the whole game all at once,I'll rate this game in point version.
Sound-was great,had to turn it down or up at times
Graphics-crystal clear, stunning
Voice over- well done
H.O. scenes-clear and precice , not a "church rumage sale"
Story line-has you guessing as to who the villian is[I was wrong]
Difficulty-you decied for yourself[I consider myself very good at this type of game and at times I had to use the Hint ]
Length-sorry can't say,I do so many other things at the same time[cooking,laundry,animals wanting in and out etc.]
Mini games-some are easy others extremely difficult
Morphing objects-there are none in the S.E., and believe me I looked,so don't bother looking[doesnt take anything away from the game.
I really enjoyed this game and hope you do as well.I will replay this game ,as I know most of us do[I have a habbit of memorizing the objects so I let some time go by first]
All in all it is a keeper ,,so enjoy fishes!!!

I only played the demo, and enjoyed it enough to put on hold for the SE version .I just don't think a game[any game] is worth the cost of a CE.You don't miss a darned thing in the cheaper version.[just my opinion fishes] I will be back to write a better review when I have played the whole game.I have hundreds of games from BF, and will continue to buy more.Keep it up BF!!!
