I enjoyed this edition to the storyline. I agree that the storyline could be more upbeat seeing that the news is already filled with so much tragedy but that aside I actually liked the game itself. It was fun and I don't mind the mouse - he brings a nice continuity across this series of games. It was overall enjoyable.
I actually enjoyed this game. You can just skip all the dialogue. I finished the game without reading any of it. Got 3 stars on most levels on first try, good level of challenge, nice upgrades. Only complaint is that characters sometimes overlap stations and items, so you end up picking up the wrong thing or your click doesn't register where you'd like it. Other than that, good TM game.
I'm enjoying this one quite a bit. Bought the regular version and thinking about buy the CE as well. One of the better TM games in a long while. Tip: To get 3 stars, check everyone out immediately - don't wait to make long chains of customers!
I love everything about this game and this series. I own them all and this installment meets and exceeds my expectations. Has just enough new elements to keep me interested while keeping the game play you come to know and love. Just the right level of challenge. I've only had to look for walkthrough videos a couple of times :-) but can usually get 3 starts in one or two tries. One word from me: Perfect!
I now own all 3 Northern Tale's. I'm a fan of the series and this one did not disappoint. It has the right mix of keeping what you like about the game but changing it up just enough with a few additions. Some of the levels are challenging but for the most part fairly easy to get 3 stars. There are videos out there for the ones you get stuck on! New elements were introduced and I love the design of the levels and challenges. This series, along with Viking Saga, are my favorites and can't wait for more.
Enjoyed the first one. This one picks up where it left off while adding nice new levels and challenges. As before, good game play, graphics and difficulty level is decent. Both both versions. Great if you like Northern Tale and looking for something new (similar but different enough).
You’re on a train in the middle of nowhere, and a band of dangerous thieves demand you tell them where to find the Hope Diamond’s shards. As the newest Hidden Expedition recruit, you’ve got to find the shards before they do…
This is my first review, despite the 100s of games I've played. I just had to mention this is by far my favorite HOG thus far. It's not creepy yet fun, vibrant and challenging. Love the graphics, does not drive you crazy looking for the next clue and everything is visibly clear. This game is "just right." More games like this and less creepy, gory, dead and ghost-themed games please.
I recommend this game!

I'm always looking for the next level TM game. At first I thought this was going to be one of those easy, repetitive, monotonous games but it had a pretty good progression of adding challenge via more recipes, upgrades, customers and staff. I actually bought this one rather than just waiting for it to become free at some point :-)
