I play lots of HOGs and time management. I like to move fast and I like the mystery of trying to find things, or the challenge of figuring out the mini games. None of that is in this game. I kept thinking my hour demo was up because it seemed like I played for hours and hours.
There isn't much in the way of instructions so you kind of figure stuff out as you go along. But on the other hand, there are so many arrows saying to click here and there are sparkles that say click on this. Each level is about the same.
You have to find a wrench that's broken into three silver parts. Then you find a screwdriver the same way, then a knife. And using those three tools you found, go to the sparklies and click. That's pretty much it.
One of the levels was completely stupid. The guy inherits a museum. His female friend falls through the floor. She has to collect a few tools to get out of the basement of the museum. Imagine my surprise when she floods the lower level of the basement so she can float up to the next floor. Well, I guess she just ruined the museum.
I know it's just a game and characters are always doing dumb stuff. But that was the icing on the pointless cake for me. This is a collectors edition? I can't imagine how much worse the standard version must be!

This is not a jigsaw puzzle. This is a mosiac puzzle. I don't like mosiac puzzles much, but have played some. They are usually very challenging and the graphics are usually always stunning. This one is pretty lame. Colors, graphics and subject matter are not interesting. I guess if you really like mosiacs, try the sample first. But I wouldn't waste an hour on it (even tho I did). In other words: there goes an hour of my life I'll never get back.

I love jigsaw puzzles and mosaic puzzles and even time management games, so I didn't mind working against the clock and I am fine with spending quality time putting a puzzle together. It's relaxing for me. . But this game is painfully boring. In the sample I played I tried to move ahead to another level to see if I could find something challenging, but it asked me to buy more coins. Nope.
I don't recommend this game.

I didn't mind that the graphics are simple. In fact, it's a nice change from so many dark mysterious I've seen here. I thought this would be a great change of pace. You have to find a little thing here to use in a place there, then find a tiny thing there to use, and on and on. The hints are kind of useless. After a while of looking, clicking on hint, looking some more, waiting for the hint to recharge, then clicking on hint again, then looking... I almost dozed off. If you really want to take your time and relax, and watch paint dry, then you'll like this. Borrrrriiiiinnnng.
I love the Clutter games and play them over and over. But you get to know the colors and shapes of each hidden object, that it's not much of a challenge after a while. This new game uses all those same ol objects, so it's like I paid money to play Clutter 2 or 3 all over again. Plus I'm not a big fan of the mini games and this is all mini games. Blah. I finished the actual "Quest" HOG in about a hour and there was nothing left to do except those dumb mini games. Waste of money. Playing the old Clutter games over and over is way better!
I don't recommend this game.

I could not figure out what to do. I read the instructions and still, nothing made sense. There were some HOG, but only for 5-10 items, and each time you returned to that location, many of the items were repeated. You can't upgrade the store without lots of gold and lots of levels. Worst of all, once you go through the few HOGs, no more are available, so I was trying to figure out what to do next and there is no way to tell. I sat down tonight excited to try this and what a bummer. Yuk.
This game wasn't bad. It was a nice change from all the dark mysteries I play. But I wouldn't pay more than $1.99 for it. The graphics weren't great, no animation to write home about. The objects you needed to find for the 12 Days of Christmas calendar sparkled so much, they practically reached out and pinched you! The mini games are elementary. When my hour demo was over, I was over it too.
