Let's just get the negative out of the way, the game is a bit glitchy. Sometimes the audio is out of sync with the video when characters are speaking, there were a couple times where I had to exit and reboot the game in order to zoom in on an object, and you have to click in a fairly precise area to get certain things to work. Having said all that, I still give this game high marks and would recommend it to anyone who likes puzzle/adventure/hidden object games. The overall style and graphics look GREAT. The gameplay is engaging and fun and not just the same old puzzles you see in so many of the games of this genre. Clearly a lot of thought and work went into this product. I'm excited to see any new games this company comes out with, if they just improve the flow of the gameplay I'm sure they'll have a winner.
I recommend this game!

I can't say enough good things about this game. It's super fun, the graphics are great and the level of challenge "ups" itself constantly - for me it was not so difficult that I got discouraged, but not so easy that I got bored. It's a classic "defend the tower" themed game, with a lot of "twists" that affect your strategy. You slowly amass a collection of different plants with different powers, ie: mushrooms that hypnotize the zombies, pea shooter plants that shoot them, flaming tree stumps that turn your pea shooters into fireball shooters -- there's literally about 50 different plants with different powers. The zombies have different strengths and weaknesses as well, and the setting changes from day to night, fog, pool, rooftop etc. So with all the different plants, zombies and settings.. your strategy constantly changes. There's also a ton of fun "mini games" and puzzles included. In some of them you need to reverse your strategy and root for the zombies in order to win. I know I sound like a total geek, but I have to say, I have not played a game that was so addicting since Super Mario Brothers first came out in the 80s.
Storyline is a bit boring, graphics are sloppy cut outs. There are a lot of fun hidden object games out there, overall, this one just does not measure up.
I don't recommend this game.

The first couple days I had this game I could not stop playing it. The more you play, the faster you get, and I kept trying to beat my own time. I think this game is probably a good workout for your brain/memory. The storyline is fun, and you get to keep decorating the mansion as you win more and more levels/money. All in all a fun, fast paced hidden object game.
This is a pretty standard, fun puzzle game, but over and over again the objects in the HOAs are misnamed - which I actually found kind of entertaining... Hm they say "scalpel"... but ah yes, the object is actually an Exacto Knife... etc. etc. I found it kind of fun to try to delve into the gamemakers' minds... "Hmmm when they say 'shovel' do they actually mean 'shovel' or do they mean "scoop? ladel? hand trowel?". I you don't have a sense of humor about the above, you won't enjoy the game. Otherwise, I didn't find anything particularly outstanding about it. I appreciate the work people put into these games, so I don't like to give a bad review, but I would not recommend this one, based solely on the fact that it's just kind of "average". There are much better puzzle games out there.

I play a lot of puzzle/hidden object games - or rather, I play a lot of the free trial versions. I'm pretty picky about which ones I actually buy. I'm really happy with this purchase, this game was super fun and I felt the puzzles and overall level of challenge was not too hard and not too easy. The graphics are attractive as well. Also, you get a bonus game that's very well crafted and fun as well. The only negative thing I have to say, (spoiler alert), and this is being a bit nit picky, is that you have to lure a mouse into a mousetrap to get it into your inventory, the mousetrap kills the mouse, then you have to feed it to a snake. I know it's "just a cartoon", but it squicked me out a bit.
