Every single level, the Book closes, then opens again like a 3D monster attacking you. The music got old very quickly. Your character looks like Lara Croft, and your Helper resembles Yoda. You must solve puzzles to "prove your worthiness" to be the new Hero.
The first puzzle is an easy switch the squares to make a picture, and the tiles lock into place when they're right. The second one is spot a section of the picture from a small sample, again, very easy.
The floating M3 boards are a nightmare! You cannot grab the board and slide it over to see possible matches. Every level has a lock you must open to finish. I got the key at around 80% of the boards completed. The hardest part was getting the board to float to where the lock was visible. Once you open the lock, the level is finished. I never went higher than 90%, but you can replay the level if you want to try for 100%. Power ups are the standard ones in every Match 3 game.
The graphics are bright, colourful, and clear. The story is no more far fetched than others we have seen, but it wasn't enough to hold my interest.
I don't recommend this game.

The Hint system is useless except in the actual H0 scenes. The puzzles are very different from what I'm used to seeing. When I was really stuck, I checked the WT and then thought DOH of course! Adventure Lite lovers will probably enjoy this very much, as you need to use your brain and look around quite a bit. Graphics are a little muddy, but nothing is difficult to find. No voice overs, and the dialogue is too useful to be skipped completely, but if you read fast you can click through it. Very interactive game, and best of all a Map to jump you to different places. I like it!
I recommend this game!

This is not Solitaire, it's a Mahjong game with playing cards. The music is Oriental and repetitious.Thankfully you can Mute it. There are 15 Waterfall locations, and you play 5 mahjong boards each plus a Bonus game to advance to the next location. The Bonus is pairing the cards in numerical order Ace thru King. They flash Mottos like a fortune cookie after each board completed, but don't give you time to read them.
If all you want is an easy, relaxing game, this may suit you. I'll give it a pass.
I don't recommend this game.

on an old Favorite. What a pleasant surprise. Options for music and sounds, level of difficulty, and number of squares in each puzzle. Bright, colorful, large tiles, and the choice of Original Sudoku or Latin Squares. Plenty of levels to play, plus you can print them out to play anywhere.
It has a Tutorial, but you can turn it off. If you need help, it has the added feature of auto suggestions and/or Hints. A thoroughly satisfying experience.
I recommend this game!

Based on the Demo only... I guess this should be classed as an Adventure Lite. Adventure lovers will hate it because of the H0 scenes. Very linear play, and feels slow. You have to complete the steps in order or you can't do anything. Not a lot of direction even in Casual Mode. Too much Dialogue, read only, no Voice Overs. I usually have more patience, but was too annoyed to finish the Demo.
I don't recommend this game.

This game is GREAT if you are 3 or 4 years old. Cute scenes and puzzles, Sickly sweet, condescending voiceovers, simple instructions. The list changes colour rather than removing objects after you find them. Most are easy to spot, but some are very small or well hidden, so a child would need help from an adult or the Hint button. Usual junk pile clutter, and no linear progression.
I don't recommend this game.

I had a lot of fun with this game. The voiceovers and graphics are excellent. Dialogue can be skipped. The H0 scenes are a bit cluttered and hard to see, but not impossible, and there is no time limit. The Hint meter takes about 1 minute 15 seconds to recharge, and there is a rather startling misclick penalty. Options are reasonable. It doesn't list widescreen, but fills my 17" Monitor with no sidebars.
Each scene has a puzzle that you collect clues for, and doors off the main room for additional scenes. As well as finding objects you have to capture ghosts by clicking on them. There is also a Bonus game involving rapid clicking. This takes speed and dexterity, which I did find difficult. This is a long game and well worth the price.
I recommend this game!

I hated this game. You can't skip the Tutorial, you have to wait for every action. Can't play the boards until it says Ready, Steady, Go. When you finish a board you have to wait for the points to total, then wait to load the next board. There is a ton of dialogue in the cut scenes. Everything takes forever.
I don't recommend this game.

Too much pressure. The info box for Tutorial and Objectives takes up too much room, distracting you from the actual gameplay. The time limit for receiving trophies is too short in the early "learning" levels, and you have to choose which resources are needed to accomplish the objective. The Tutorial does not give enough advice on how to do this, but I couldn't see a way to turn it off either. The only option is to replay each level several times to learn how to win a trophy. I found it very stressful.
I don't recommend this game.

This game is so simple a monkey could get through it, if they had the patience to try. The graphics are a little blurry in the H0 scenes, but the objects are quite easy to find. You see the same scene over and over, find so many pairs, find objects by silhoette, spot the difference, find 20 of an object, then you get a simple jigsaw puzzle, fitting mosaic tiles into a picture. No need to rotate the shapes either. Then you have to match an object to 1 of 8 silhoettes, which wasn't so easy. No option to skip puzzles unfortunately.
In between is a trite love story. The Prince has to complete so many trials to prove worthy of the Princess. The music is appropriate if annoying. The background noise when you click on an object is excrutiating, but you can turn it off. This is a terrible game.
I don't recommend this game.
