I reviewed the Collector's Edition and did not give good reviews. However, it is because you need to understand how to play this game and once you do, it is fun! You have to click on each customer to serve them, you don't need to click on them to order, you can't click near them or in their generation direction, on the actual customer. Also, you can select only one item at a time, not two items quickly. With that said, it was fun and challenging but the game itself should have more levels to be really anything other than good. Perhaps the CE edition has more levels, not sure.

I love a good cooking game, but this was painful for me to try to play after ten minutes. If you go to serve someone and click on them, for some reason it will deliver to someone else. If you go to click on batter and try to go cook it, sometimes you have to double click to do so. It sticks is what I'm trying to say and it is not smooth to play, if they are using this tactic to make it harder...they shouldn't what it is...is frustrating. When you go to upgrade the server, it won't allow you to pick for her to go faster, I tried five times and it eventually just went back to the home screen. If this game gets better as you progress, than great but I didn't have the patience to see.
This game has really great graphics and fun factors! It is like Zombies and Plants but with food and monsters. I found it challenging and fun! Not sure how many levels, but hopefully a ton. I give it a perfect score.

This CE edition is worth every penny, this game is endless hours and days of fun on the challenge level. I really enjoy when I have a tough time beating a level and I still have a lot that I can't seem to lick. The different restaurants are unique and challenging. Also, visually it is top shelf, I can't help but laugh when the construction guy gets angry that I'm too slow. I would love to see more and more games of this quality caliber and fun.
I'm a big fan of the BAL series and have wanted a new series game for some time. The great thing about this series is the game is challenging and you go back to replay levels that you couldn't get perfect on prior. Endless hours of entertainment as you try to get a perfect score. However, it is the same game with no bells and whistles other than a point system that now allows you to cash them in for extra money during in game building. I like that feature, but I am a little greedy for some more ingenuity. I loved the fairytale one, but I'll be honest, no matter the lack of new things, I will always buy a new BAL and I'm never dissapointed with them.
Take on the role of Emyr, probably the realm’s most famous hero. That is, until his career was destroyed by a dreadful wound. Now, Emyr works in the tavern.
What a great little tavern type time management game. The story line, characters and even the music are amusing and make playing this fun. My only complaint is to me it seemed to be over quicker than I would of liked, but it may of been because I enjoyed it so much. Hoping there is a Barbarous 2 in the works, in fact, make at least a few more. I truly miss these type of games, there used to be more released monthly and now just a couple if lucky, this is one of the gems. Enjoy!
I needed to download and try this game as it had a really bad review and needed to check it out for myself. Visually the game looks good, but the sound is repetitive and one almost has to put it on mute. There are no indicators of how much time you have to finish the levels and yet they give stars after the level is finished? I had some weird pop up that looks like a wheel with a 1,000 on it...but for what? Who knows. There is a black figure that starts to show up, who is he? There just is no story to go with this. It becomes boring very quickly because there is no time indicators and I have yet to figure out who Elena is...? It has potential if some of the above was fixed, I hate saying that because I'm sure a lot of work went into it, but this game should of been beta tested prior to release and some of the issues could of been fixed to make it more enjoyable. For me, it gets deleted.
This game starts out with really grade school level clicks and story line, you cannot skip it nor can you even exit the game, I had to bring up my task manager in order to stop it. Once I got to where the game started, it was seriously lackluster. Not for me.
It did take me a little bit of time to get the hang of this, the tutorial is not entirely helpful, but you will get it after some trial and error. It is a fun game and it has endless play opportunities, you can go back and play different scenarios, etc. It is like a mini sims city situation, I found it very challenging and fun. I found myself playing this for hours. Yet, I haven't even got to half the research elements! Keep this type of game coming, bravo.
In the description of this game it states, fun mini-games! Where exactly are the mini-games? You have to keep playing over and over again to gain enough coins to get to the next stage. I'm sure I played the first section of the game 20 times if not more, without there being much challenge to get to the next level. I think there is some misleading info, again, where are the mini-games? After two hours of game play, yawn, bored but it had so much promise. I don't mind the graphics, found it fun for a little but again, you are just playing it over and over again to get enough coins for level 2, but then you get to level 2 and only the scene changes. Had potential to be a great game, I wish there were beta-testers, I would of helped with suggestions on how to make this great. It's a miss.
