This game has wonderful artwork, graphics and cut scenes that made me feel as though I was in an Indiana Jones movie.
I counted 24 Hidden Object Scenes in the main game and 8 in the bonus chapter. I'm not particularly fond of masses of H0 scenes, but here they were well spaced throughout the game, clearly defined and easy to find; making me actually look forward to playing them rather than finding them a chore to get through.
It's a long game too and, imo, the bonus is worth the CE price for once.
The puzzles are a bit too easy but, overall, I found this game fun and engrossing. One of my favourites of 2012 so far.
I enjoyed this game more than the other Mystery Trackers. Real actors have become somewhat of a must with me since 13th Skull and in this one there are real animals too! You get to meet a very sweet real Chihuahua who becomes your companion and helps you in several places throughout the game. I felt like reaching into the screen and taking Imp through it to sit on my lap! The frog hint button in the MT games is also a lot of fun.
This is a long game with a lot to do, which meant I was entertained throughout; and some of the scenes had me laughing, such as the black and white TV sequence. 5/5 from me.
I loved this game, though I do question whether it is worth a CE price. At the half way point I was calculating that the main game would take me at least 4 plus hours. I finished in about 3 1/4 hours. Then again, I play fast.
The puzzles are not overly challenging, but there is a lot to do in each scene here and the H0 scenes are well spaced out and a breeze to get through. Graphics are beautiful, though it's surprising there are no voiceovers.
This is one of those games where gamers who wait for the SE may feel disappointed at the sudden end, which is actually continued in the CE. Overall though, it's a great game for the times you just want to have a bit of fun without challenging your brain too much.
This is a very enjoyable game quite typical of the creepy "rescue your family's souls from the evil demon" kind of iH0G. The music fits the atmosphere beautifully, the graphics are lovely and there is not too much running around.
The only fly in the ointment for me came towards the end where you are forced to play 12 hidden object scenes one after another with nothing else to do in between. This got a bit repetitive and gamers who don't like tons of H0S in their HOPAs probably won't like this part. I didn't.
Overall, though, well worth the money and kept me busy for a good few hours.
This was a fun game which played very much like a lot of others of its genre. I really enjoy games with real actors, but found it odd that written voiceovers were used, instead of actually letting them speak. I imagine, though, this may have been a lip sync timing issue for the developer.
I finished this game in just under 3 1/2 hours so this is not the longest game out there, but at a sale SE price, it's good value. I also found that 23 H0 scenes in a game of this length was too many for me. Good middle of the road gaming iH0G fun, though.
This is one game that can call itself a Collectors' Edition with pride. The game is long (it took me about 7 hours for the main game and 1 1/2 hours for the bonus chapters). The graphics and cut scenes are beautiful, the H0S items clearly defined and not grainy or blurry, the music is haunting, the puzzles not too difficult. There is also not too much running around. Very good bonus play too. This developer always delivers.
