I bought this during a BOGO sale and am so glad I did. I understand others did not like the dialogue, but I enjoyed it. The story is quite good and the character development very good!
I have taken my time playing this game because I don't want it to end, I would play a similar game with quality akin to this one. I had no technical issues.
I love this developer and this game is their best (I have them all)! This is interesting game play with a couple of new mini-games during the play. I also really appreciate the option to pick a character that brings different skill sets and the option to play Higher/Lower, Match and Sum of 14 solitaire.
I do hope the Revills Games team will also develop and release a new Christmas Solitaire this year. They do a wonderful job in that realm too!
I, like many others, buy this game every year. I have them all. I am not thrilled about the late release. Seriously. Christmas is just a few days away and I play these games to help put me in the spirit.
I am grateful to Pennmom36 for explaining why this delay may have occurred and also why I have not seen as many reviews from her! Like many other gamers I very much value her feedback and have missed her reviews!
Why are there 2 different Santas? Why is the girl character referred to as the girl instead of her name, which is Emma. Why are the grandparents referred to as the grandparents? Most folks would say our grandparents or even grandma and grandpa...
The dueling Santas occurred in the last Wonderland and I'm pretty sure it occurs going forward.
Would like to see grandpa put the paper down and engage with the family or at least help grandma!
I have every Christmas in Wonderland and I have had this edition for years. Periodically I replay them and this one is my favorite primarily for the the tricky little snowman you can find for extra points in every scene. It is not easy to locate this snowman in many/most scenes and I love the challenge!
I also like this visit to the North Pole better than future games. There's something about the Candy Cane ski lift poles that lends a bit of magic to Santa land. I wish more of the Christmas in Wonderlands were like the first few...especially this one.
This game is awesome! I have been playing the last Solitaire game by this developer, Santa’s Christmas Solitaire 2, since it came out in December because the game play options have maintained my interest. So I guess one could say Christmas in July! Now I will play this one. The Revills Games team has a few solitaire games out. I highly recommend Legends of Solitaire: Curse of the Dragons because the story is incredible. Check out all the games by this developer!
I have always loved this series, but this is just not a very good game. Definitely not worthy of a CE designation and price. Wait for the SE. I hope the Devs go back to their roots because the first few Park Ranger games were the best. I don't want to travel to a dry, desert of a park to help out. Would much prefer mountains and forests. There is a great deal of opportunity with the Park Ranger premise. Remember where you came from and then - please get creative!! (Oh! And please stop asking us to find 25 tickets/coupons or whatever it is! That's just lazy!)
