No instructions given, but you can pretty much figure out to click on whatever is on the screen. Kind of a farming game with little creatures to help you gather and pests to whomp on the head.
With only 15 min of demo it is hard to see where this is going. Graphics are cute, but that's about the only thing this game has going for it. Might be okay for a free game and little kids but I won't be wasting any money on it.

Pretty easy HOG. Scenes are colorful and well made. Only needed hint button a few times. Pretty standard fare. Game was too short, not a ton of levels. That being said, you can replay and objects to find change, but not their location so a small amount of replayability.
Would recommend for a daily deal, not worth full price

As others have said, my biggest beef is that this is way too short to even be a game past the demo stage. I literally got to the end of the game about an hour or two past demo, playing on the normal setting. From what I understand about the CE, there are no extra chapters/rooms, so don't waste your money on it.
While the story started out sort of intriguing, there is no resolution to the mystery of where the professor and his bride have gone. It seems like this is just one big cash grab to get you to buy the next chapter. Or maybe the developers just fired everyone during the pandemic and decided to release it anyway! It may be worth it as the $3 deal of the day, but not worth a credit or $7 for it.
I love that this is a true adventure game. Point and click, explore, solve the room to advance. I like that you are able to customize the difficulty. Played on normal, had to switch to easy a few times because I couldn't find the needed item, but then switched back.
Had the potential to be a really good game, but for the value I don't recommend.

I tried, I really did. Barely made it thru 5 levels before I had to bin this game. Nothing special that I could see. Match 4 or 5 doesn't give a bomb or anything. Graphics were just so-so. Music was nice as was the storyline.
However, when I tired to exit the game, it would not let me. Had go into task manager to do it. This game may get better as you go, but that right there is a deal breaker.
Based on the demo. Recommend trying before buying.
This game is definitely an older style point and click, choose your own story type. A lot of reading required, so not the most action in the world.
Lots of items to interact with/use, maybe too many at times til you get the correct item. Revisit areas as time may change the interaction (for example, the dryer is running initially, but when you go back it has stopped).
Biggest tip is to use the map function or call mom on the phone when you think you are stuck. It will show you possible areas you can go to, to pick up missing items to use. For example, Early on, I was stuck on the weed guy in the woods til I realized I needed the weed killer.
Biggest drawback is that there is no JUMP feature on the map, so you have to do tons of backtracking.
I like this game for a mellow, use your gray matter, go at your own pace kind of game. I realize that this one won't appeal to a ton of people, but give the full demo a try before deciding to pull the plug. You may find that you like it after(life) all.

Basic match 3 getting water to flow thru the puzzle. Relaxing and fun, but not a ton of challenge. There are no real options other than volume. Would have been great to have a timer or difficulty option. Help hammer is pretty much unlimited to use as much as you want without a wait.
The best part of the game, however, are the "puzzle pieces" you can unlock that give you 8 extra mini games, such as an actual jigsaw puzzle, fish eating game, a card game, etc. My favorite is a mah-jongg type that is similar to the old Nikakoduri that I LOVED! No timer on most of these and decent amount of challenge on some of these mini games. I recommend as a low-key time waster. Have replayed the mini games dozens of times.
I know we probably don't NEED a 12th ClearIt, but I really enjoy these games. Relaxing and I don't get carpal tunnel from trying to shoot fast or strain my eyes on another HO game.
Colors are vibrant and there are several new "helpers" in the game. It was worth a game credit for me!

Amazingly fun game! Many different types of play (match 3, battle, adventure) to keep you entertained for hours and hours. Nice long game and definitely worth the money. Beautifully colored and drawn. I played with out the music, so not sure about that.
Took me many days to finish, playing on normal difficulty, and I was playing every chance I got . I'm not sure how to get all of the achievements and love this game so much I am already replaying on hard level to try to get them. Try the demo and I'm sure you will be convinced this is one worth the price!

I usually don't buy CEs, but this one is so worth it! I have been playing for probably over 40 hours on this one and still not even close to finishing, as I am trying to get all the stars and guinea pigs, etc.
The graphics are fun, colorful and well done. The music gets a little annoying, but there are some fun tunes sprinkled throughout the episodes.
Great story line, you definitely want to find out what happens next. And for me I will need to go back and play the 2nd installment as I missed that game when it came out.
Amazing replay value. Lots of minigames, a scrapbook to buy with your diamonds, as well as the main story. Playing in the normal mode, I can usually beat the level the first time, but need to replay several more times to make sure I get all 5 stars, meet the level goal and find Oliver. Sometimes you may need to sacrifice one to get the other, but they are all cumulative, so that's nice. You may have to play further along to get the card pack/upgrade you need to buy before you can pass certain levels. But not so hard that you feel like giving up.
I am really enjoying this game and highly recommend this time management offering!

I found the original Hero of the Kingdom several years ago and immediately bought the 2nd one. Glad to see a new chapter.
Kind of a throwback RPG with lots of quests and people to help on your way. Graphics aren't the best, but helps to give it the retro feel. A great game for some relaxing play, not stressful.
Would like to have had a quest log, as once you get farther along in the game it's hard to remember who/what the quest involves so you have to retrace your steps a lot. Luckily they do have a map to hop to your desired location. Talk to everyone and explore, explore, explore!
Not to everyone's liking, I'm sure, just try the demo.
