I loved the usual construction challenges, but the storyline really put this Envoy over the top. Not only do you have to rebuild the kingdom, you also have to run a campaign to save the country from falling into The Swindler's hands!
The out-of-the-box activities made this a great strategy game. There are rabbit hole portals and a kind of whack-a-mole game with miners when the mine caves in. There's also a blue elephant you train to drain the swamps.
The level of imagination is delightful. Great job, designers!
I recommend this game!

Eve goes through her portal to the frozen world of Corra, where people are disappearing in Thawing Ceremonies. Thy are never seen again, dun dun dun.
If that weren't creepy enough, there's a Pylon running the show. He sends his ambassador, a kind of "Ignore the man behind the curtain" pixillated dude.
You have to rebuild a snow scooter, negotiate the snow and ice, piece together artifacts, and triumph over the HOS in order to help Corra, Kreel, and the victims of the Unthawing.
I loved this game because the world felt fantastic but real at the same time. The developers have come up with a snowy, icy realm that made me shiver as I played the mini-games and explored the landscape. As usual, the developers have gorgeous graphics and interactive scenes. There's a map, custom mode, and beautiful cutscenes.
I recommend this game!

I loved this HOA for many reasons, chiefly because I'm a huge fan of the Persephone/ Hades myth. In this version, Persephone has another love, Elias, who goes to save her from the Underworld.
But Persephone is no mere damsel in distress. As Elias battles for her, she works from the Underworld to free herself and get back to him.
You play as both characters, switching via a magic amulet. When it glows, you know it's time to become the other. I found this unique feature to be charming, since the lovers work together during the adventure.
The challenges were great, including the HOS and an awesome game you play with the 'cowardly captain' in order to advance.
There's custom mode and an interactive map, always good. The graphics are gorgeous, and I was intrigued by both Elias' setting and the Underworld.
I recommend this game!

This would be just another 'boil eggs to make egg powder game' if it weren't for all the awesome updates. I love game that send me back to play levels after I've updated so I can win more money, in this case tokens.
It begins with getting seagulls to lay eggs. From there you make potions, boil the eggs, fight pirates, and catch landcrabs. You can buy a faster potion maker (I'm saving up for her) as well as bigger umbrellas for larger stockpiles, etc. And don't forget to power up in each level before you pass out from hunger!
The graphics are cartoonish but perfect for a TM game. This is a must-have for TM fans.
I recommend this game!

What seems like a simple TM challenge is a very tricky exercise in construction. Not only do you have to provide food, wood, explosives, and workers, you also have to order items from the factor in order to build and improve shops, cake shops, and factories.
I really enjoyed figuring out the challenges. I played the middle level, but I want to go back and try the toughest one. This is no slouch of a game, spoon-feeding you easy levels to get you started! Right from the beginning you have to figure out the best way to order your progress in order to clear your roads and make it possible to order the resources you need.
I also enjoyed special challenges like clicking on robbers and feeding wolves. Plus, it's cool to have all those Model T's rolling around.
Excellent, tricky game!
I recommend this game!

Just because THEY are on a cruise doesn't mean we get to sit around! There are drinks to make, shrimp platters to assemble, and customers to seat. In this game we also have fashions to design and sew, coffee to brew, and shoes to try on.
I love the graphics and the level of challenge. This isn't too easy nor too difficult - a very hard thing to achieve, so many kudos to the designers.
In my opinion, this is a must-buy for TM fans.

When a daughter disappears, it's your job to come in and help the police find her. Expect dark scenes and amazing interactive puzzles along with some of the most intriguing HOS I've ever seen.
Demon Hunter 3 was a great game to play because of graphics (dark and scary but still gorgeous) and amazing backstory. This is the first I've played in the series, and I'll certainly be back for more.
I really like creative puzzles, including one set-up where you brew almond oil. Add this to what happens to the priest (seriously creepy) and a strong detective, and it all combines to make a winning game.
I recommend this game!

Bob offers Sarah a family heirloom necklace, as you do, while they're boating on the lake. This awakens the spirit of his ex, Arlene, and wow does she cause a lot of damage. She must REALLY want that necklace - or maybe she just wants Bob? (Can't blame her there - he's one of those muscly lumberjack types, even if he isn't the sharpest tool in the locked box.)
Now it's your job to save Sarah, help Bob, and even get together with Arlene's old magic teacher to defeat the spirit. The back story unfolds via Arlene's magical diary, and you discover there's a lot more to this ex than anyone thought.
Along the way you do some puzzles, including a HOS with a (spoiler alert) running stream of objects you have to click on to put a doll back together. I loved that puzzle, as well as the fat raccoon you have to feed in order to get some fuses. I felt a lot better when I fed that raccoon, after (another spoiler alert) scaring him with freaky monkey toy.
The cutscenes are beautiful, and if you like horror along with your feels, go for this game. It's really well done. Did I mention the map? Beautifully drawn!
Kudos, game developers!
I recommend this game!

Two magicians, both raised by Thurman the Magnificent, try to top each other with better illusions - until one is killed by his own trick. OR IS HE?
It's your job to search their castles, brew potions, teleport through space, fix the ruined bridge... and discover what has happened to the fiery wizard.
I found this game to be all good. IMO the graphics were perfect for the theme, the storyline was riveting, and I loved the puzzles. HOS included interactive parts, and there were some 'grouping' scenes (put the apple with the other apples' etc that I really enjoyed.
Did I mention the portion? I'm always in for brewing a good potion.
If you like magic and a riveting fantasy / mystery, you can't do better than this game. I'm going to go back and play the series - I loved it that much.
I recommend this game!

Einix scores again with this series of whodunit HOA's. As a detective, it's your job to come into a manor (where, ironically, the corpse was about to host a murder mystery party) and investigate the REAL murder.
I loved the usual amazing graphics, the custom mode, the interactive map, as well as the interrogations (are they lying? Telling the truth?) entering evidence and suspects into the journal, and looking for clues.
But this game delivers more. There's a card theme, with hearts and clubs everywhere, as well as the masks you can find for an added challenge. Not only that, the actual gameplay involves clever camera angles that add to the eerie atmosphere. Playing this, as a result, is like being inside a noir film, except you get to interact with the scenes.
The HOS are also interactive (I really enjoyed the fishtank) and deliver crisp pictures and fun clues. They're a bit easy, but perhaps the developers wanted to get to the fun puzzles - which are great.
Definitely a buy for me.
I recommend this game!
